The game's not working on my computer! I mount the install cd and press the install button on the autorunner and what happens? NOTHING! What the hell am I supposed to do? I got Vista so maybe the problem is there?

You're supposed to load it via a virtual drive. Go here.

Get daemon tools light. install with administrator mode for the setup.
then restart your computer. load the file via the virtual drive. when it ask for cd 2 load the 2nd file.

With this torrent,i was able to complete my collection QFG.TYSFM grifter2008.i played the 4th when i was 5 and ive been trying to track the 5th down for a week now after i figured how to run bittorrent.ty again

In order to make it run:
1: Mount the disc image and install the game.
2: When running Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, you have to right click the QFG5.exe file in the program folder where you installed the game, go to Properties > Compatibility > Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 95.
However, there seems to be an error near the end of the game. In a quest where a man called Minos jumps down to the floor and kills himself, there is supposed to be a cutscene of a flying dragon. This cutscene is for some reason not viewed, and the game seems to stop after that. The time keeps going, but you are unable to move the character.
It may have something to to with the old quicktime format supported by the game. I have not been able to figure out how to solve the problem, and thus I never get to complete the game! I would appreciate som help!

Ok, I've solved the problem! Download the latest patches for the game from Sierra's homepages, it will fix any bugs.

I don't know if this torrent is monitored, but every time I try to open the zip files, I get a message reading "Internal error processing ISO image" I don't know if it's the game or my computer, but any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks a lot grifter2008, I really appreciate it. Man, this is my favorite game, ever. Anyway guys, I've installed the game, patched it with the latest patch 1.2 from Sierra Homepage, as suggested by allmektige.peder (thanks!), and applied the QFGWin2K as well for it to be able to play in Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Then I started playing.
It all went well, until almost at the end I've got these crashes. You know when coursing on the map, chances are you will bump into monsters right (I mean besides the Dragon Pillar Icons thingy)? That's where the game crashes. I dunno whether it's the sharp sound indicates you are bumping into some monsters that actually make the game crashes, or some other reasons. Actually it's not that bad. Only happens sometimes, not that frequent.
I finished the first game as a Fighter. And about the Minos error thing, don't worry about it. I've met this incident many times in the past, but all I know is that as long as you download this torrent and apply the latest patch, it won't have that error thing.
So, when I played the second time as a Paladin, it's started to annoy me when I coursed on the map and getting this frequent crash when I hear this sharp sound that indicates you have bumped into monsters. I was wondering if I may as well run it in Win 95 mode, maybe it'll work... Don't know for sure.
Anyway, any helps will be greatly appreciated. =)

Just FYI, this is the third comment I've ever written on a torrent site. I will download and seed this game FOREVER - it was my favorite growing up and I want others to be able to enjoy it the way I did.

The game won't run on my laptop (windows 7). When I click on the shortcut or the .exe file my screen goes black as if the game is about to open but then it gets stuck there.
I've installed it through daemontools lite and downloaded the new installer from the sierrahelp page and installed it through that with all patches, etc. I've tried running it on compatibility for win95, 98 and 2000, running as administrator and with visual themes disabled.
Please help I really want to play this game and I can't find another trustworthy torrent anywhere on the web..
