I can confirm you do NOT need to uninstall any previous build to install this build, just update the files and go on to follow the installation process as follows....
1, Install the App(update files from any existing 7.0build), do NOT run program yet!!!!
2, Copy the Keygen into the install directory, if you updated from a previous build copy and replace your old keygen with the new.
(DefaultDir:C:\Program Files\Sony\Acid Pro 7.0)
3, Run the keygen by Right Clicking-->Run As Admin. Vista users must remember this step!!
4, Once the keygen is open, scroll down to Acid Pro 7.0 Series, click generate a few times
5, Click Patch, confirm the location is correct and click ok, Patching will begin. Do NOT generate any more numbers after you've patched, the patch depends on that serial and activation to work, if you generate more you're fuc*ed.
6, Run Acid Pro, Paste the Serial when asked for it, Choose Register from Another Computer(duh), fill in the info, real or fake.
7, Finally, Copy and Paste the Activation Code (Make sure you get the entire thing) and you're good 2 fuc*ing go.

Jesus fucking christ, is it just me or is Acid 7.0 bugged to high hell? Every build they seem to be fixing bugs and letting twice as many through te cracks. I've had more crashes in the past 48hours on Acid7 than I have in the past 6 years on Acid v1-6 combined. They finally fixed the Rewire problems in this build but not it's not stable enough to truly put it to the test.
This is why people don't drop 400 bucks on your program sony, lol
(not talking bout the torrent, talking bout the program itself)
Other than that torrent was great, quick DL, easy to install, no errors plugging in the serial number like others reported.

I'm having the same problem as others. I have installed fine an am usually great with keygens but it says the patch isn't working. I am running Vista 32-bit.
I installed Acid then tried to patch the file to the installation folder. No go. And the authentication code doesn't work.

Great torrent, worked flawlessly.
1) Run the installer
2) Run keygen
If you are running Vista or Windows 7, you need to run the keygen in compatibility mode.
-Right click, properties
-Click Compatibility tab
-Run in Service Pack 2
-Apply and run keygen as administrator
3) Select Acid Pro series 7 in keygen menu
4) Click patch, the path should be under program files/sony/acid pro, something like that.
5) Run Acid Pro, it will ask you to register, copy and paste serial # and register online
6) The online register will fail, and it will ask you for the activation code. Copy and paste that in, and it should work.

This is a good torrent people Im in 2010 and its still good.

If you are having trouble installing. Run the keygen with Run as Admin. then after installation of ACID pro don't run it. Apply the patch from the keygen to sony/acidpro file. in program files.

Confirmed as working on Windows 7 x64. @jessblp The way i see it is to, Load the keygen, Find where you installed Sony Acid Pro 7 and select the folder where its installed and select patch! then ... open Acid up and it will ask for serial so select register by another computer try to activate and it will say sorry invalid code or something and will say enter activation, so copy and paste the activation in and boom! but .. make sure you did patch it first and it says successful. I do hope i helped just a lil bit. :)

Great, it works! For all, the procedure is as follows: Run the setup program (the big file), and firewall-block all requests that want to go out (this may not be necessary). It asks you to reboot, you do it. THEN, without running the freshly installed software, run the keygen file. From the dropdown menu select Acid 7.0, then press Patch... button. When it finishes (don't close the Keygen), run Acid from your Start menu. Copy/paste Serial number from Keygen when it asks you. Then it will ask you for activation/registration. You say "Activate from another computer". Input all the fields (not important) and save the file to My docs (not important where). Then it will ask you for activation code, which you copy/paste from Keygen again. Once you finish with this step, it will let you through and you can 1. close the Keygen 2. play with Acid. Alright. I know everyone is sick of questions and complaints about the functionality of the torrent, however, I am about to contribute to the massive list.
I installed acid pro, pasted the key gen directly into the program file ( c: programs files(x86)/sony/ACID Pro 7)
I then ran the keygen. selected ACID Pro 7,generated a few times and tried to patch. it opened the correct location. right to program files and the ACID Pro 7 file. I clicked ok....and it told me an error occurred while patching the files. I have followed all the instructions previously listed that I saw. Not only will it not allow me to patch, i was so agitated i tried just using the gen anyway and the activation code wasn't valid (which i ass me is most likely because of the failure to patch)
I am running Windows 7.
Please supply further instruction or an explanation. Im willing to admit I'm not a vet. pirate, but it doesn't seem I missed any steps.

If you are getting 1KB instead of 1K0 its coz you have selected acid music studio .. not acid pro! make sure you patch the folder named acid pro 7 inside the sony folder in program files! and then register another computer after adding your serial, enter your details i add fake ones, then save the acid pro file to your hard drive .. then it will say please enter authorization code so just enter it and bam mofo u gots it. real easy tbh :)

For some of you who had problems with activation:
First extract both files to desktop, open keygen as administrator, select sony acid pro 7 series, open sony setup as admin, enter info as prompted, select activate from another computer, save to desktop, patch two folders: program files/sony and program files/sony setup, enter authorization code when asked and you should be done

Guys, TacoSteve's guide on the first page is SPOT ON! You HAVE to put the Keygen in the Program File's folder, and you HAVE to patch THAT Program File's folder(s) in order for it to patch and work correctly.
Trust me, I had to trial and error several times to figure that out. With that said, if you STILL can't do it...

Here's TacoSteve's instruction...worked for me:
I can confirm you do NOT need to uninstall any previous build to install this build, just update the files and go on to follow the installation process as follows....
1, Install the App(update files from any existing 7.0build), do NOT run program yet!!!!
2, Copy the Keygen into the install directory, if you updated from a previous build copy and replace your old keygen with the new.
(DefaultDir:C:\Program Files\Sony\Acid Pro 7.0)
3, Run the keygen by Right Clicking-->Run As Admin. Vista users must remember this step!!
4, Once the keygen is open, scroll down to Acid Pro 7.0 Series, click generate a few times
5, Click Patch, confirm the location is correct and click ok, Patching will begin. Do NOT generate any more numbers after you've patched, the patch depends on that serial and activation to work, if you generate more you're fuc*ed.
6, Run Acid Pro, Paste the Serial when asked for it, Choose Register from Another Computer(duh), fill in the info, real or fake.
7, Finally, Copy and Paste the Activation Code (Make sure you get the entire thing) and you're good 2 fuc*ing go.

YES thank you! it took a while for me to understand the instructions... (LOOK AT rylkone's INSTRUCTIONS) for future downloaders, when you move the keygen to the install directory (look at rylkone's instructions below or TacoSteve's), you need to go to "Computer" in the start menu (for PC) , then "ProgramFiles>Sony>Acid Pro 7.0. Don't just copy/paste into the program folder on the start menu.

This torrent is now %100 verified by AnonMN and I will recommend it to others in need of Acid 7.0!
Important: Remember that when using the keygen, you must copy it to the installation directory for Acid!
[i.e., using windows7: c://program files(x86)/sony/acid pro 7.0]
After it is copied to the directory, right click and run the keygen as administrator, hit generate a couple times, then hit patch.
Patch the .dll files, the run Acid and paste the serial that was generated in the box. Then, click register from another computer, fill in some fake info, and then paste in the authentication code that you previously generated.
Also, other VST plugins work with Acid, so if you have FLStudio, Cubase, etc., all of those plugins will load automatically when you run Acid too.
Super slick and works like a charm!

Picked up as a virus but keygen.exe is actually the right keygen for the program just make sure you put it in the ACID Pro 7.0 folder and click patch first.

Figured it out - two directories show up, sony setup and sony acid. ended up in wrong folder, run from acid 7.0 program folder, not the setup folder it creates. Run as admin - works fine. Might solve some of the problems ya'll been having.

they should off put a text file with the instructions
but here they are i found them in another site looking for a solution
1.first install the program till it ask for a serial then stop
2. go to the installation folder open the keygen look for acid pro 7 then click generate(as many times you like) once you get the serial you like click patch and patch it twice one to the installation folder and then to the program folder it will give you a load bar (if you are in windows vista,7,8 you may get an error just open keygen as administrator)
3.now copy and paste the serial follow the steps till it ask for authentication code now copy paste the authentication code from the keygen and enjoy...

i don't really think you have to patch the installation folder didn't really make much sense to me since what you really need is to patch the program folder then apply the serials
but that's how i found the instructions and it worked

PATCH the exe file (which will be in the same installation directory you just put the keygen into (program files x86/sony/acid)

I patched successfully but still had some problems with the AUTH CODE, 2 things
1) The auth code is LONG, in the KEYGEN, the AUTH code is only partially visible so scroll to paste it all
2) I had to re-generate the key after patching, because my auth code would not work, and re-run acid7.exe with the NEW serial and NEW auth code then it worked.

For anyone else who found this install took a while longer than the usual install + crack, here's a few hints. Copy the keygen to the folder in your program files (x86) folder where the program was installed to. Run the keygen as Administrator or you will only get an error. Select the option to register from another computer. Enter serial generated from keygen. Don't close the keygen. Enter the authorization code generated, during the same session, by the keygen.

Does this work on Windows 7 64-bit? Whenever I try to install, it waits about 10 seconds then displays a message, "This program might not have installed correctly.". and the process ends. This worked flawlessly on the 32-bit version of Windows 7. How Do I get it to work on the 64-bit version?
