This thing is pile of amateur junk. No real professional company would ever use this to make anything. The engine is poorly coded , the tools that come with it are no where near professional game dev tools quality , the documentation sucks...
That's why it costs 800 bucks or less.

Your wrong, even some proffesionals use this.
The documentation is great, extra tools can be made yourself or downloaded. And unless your lazy, wich i think you probably are, you can make things exact the way you want it to be.
You said the engine is poorly coded? And its no way near pro quality?
I dont say this is the best, but your reaction is absurd.

XNA from microsoft is better but you need to know lots of C# before using such a prog.
XNA doesnt use a easy SDK or easy 3D language like 3DGP-A7, you need to define every function yourself.
Therefore C# isnt something you just need to understand, you really need to get the complete logic in it. And also its handy to know the commands straight away, instead of using a manual or something like that every time.
Because XNA requires a lot of time. If you cant memorize C# code you will have a really hard time.
The advantage is that XNA is based on the .NET framework. So in theory you can convert your game to any compatible .NET language.
Like the XBOX360, thats standard implemented.

Ackpro.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
I use Vista premium addition. I had a previous version of the program, the demo version, installed already, I writing over it so I could try out the newest version.
I notice my Torrent stops at 99%, even with 4 seeds, and it isn't finishing. I am missing something?
Is anyone else having problems? Can any Vista users out there get this working?

A: You might be the proud owner of one of the two beta versions that leaked to the warez scene: 6.20 and 7.05. Both were early beta versions and don't work reliably as you probably noticed. Sometimes the version number is patched for letting them appear as different versions. Please contact Support for getting a working, legal Gamestudio version. We won't prosecute you as long as you don't distribute the illegal version further, or publish anything created with it. If you do, it can become expensive ($900 per distributed copy, plus legal fees). If you're short on money, just download Gamestudio / lite-C - it's legal and free.

My AVG said it detected a virus, but like most downloads from thepiratebay, it's going to say virus when it really ISN'T. Keygens, cracks, and certain files will be detected as viruses, but they real ARE NOT.

FIX: Just right-click the Setup file and click on properties > compatability > Run this program in compatability mode for > Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and it will now work :)
