Description:

Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 x86 (32 Bit) All Windows Updates Integrated Up Too September 2010. Windows Vista Windows Vista is an operating system released in several variations developed by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs, and media center PCs. Prior to its announcement on July 22, 2005, Windows Vista was known by its codename "Longhorn." Development was completed on November 8, 2006; over the following three months it was released in stages to computer hardware and software manufacturers, business customers, and retail channels. On January 30, 2007, it was released worldwide, and was made available for purchase and download from Microsoft's website. The release of Windows Vista came more than five years after the introduction of its predecessor, Windows XP, the longest time span between successive releases of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems. It was succeeded by Windows 7 which was released to manufacturing on July 22, 2009, and for the general public on October 22, 2009. Windows Vista contains many changes and new features, including an updated graphical user interface and visual style dubbed Aero, a redesigned search function, multimedia tools including Windows DVD Maker, and redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Vista aims to increase the level of communication between machines on a home network, using peer-to-peer technology to simplify sharing files and media between computers and devices. Windows Vista includes version 3.0 of the .NET Framework, allowing software developers to write applications without traditional Windows APIs. Microsoft's primary stated objective with Windows Vista has been to improve the state of security in the Windows operating system. One common criticism of Windows XP and its predecessors is their commonly exploited security vulnerabilities and overall susceptibility to malware, viruses and buffer overflows. In light of this, Microsoft chairman Bill Gates announced in early 2002 a company-wide "Trustworthy Computing initiative" which aims to incorporate security work into every aspect of software development at the company. Microsoft stated that it prioritized improving the security of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 above finishing Windows Vista, thus delaying its completion. While these new features and security improvements have garnered positive reviews, Vista has also been the target of much criticism and negative press. Criticism of Windows Vista has targeted its high system requirements, its more restrictive licensing terms, the inclusion of a number of new digital rights management technologies aimed at restricting the copying of protected digital media, lack of compatibility with some pre-Vista hardware and software, and the number of authorization prompts for User Account Control. As a result of these and other issues, Windows Vista had seen initial adoption and satisfaction rates lower than Windows XP. However, with an estimated 330 million Internet users as of January 2009, it had been announced that Vista usage had surpassed Microsoft’s pre-launch two-year-out expectations of achieving 200 million users. At the release of Windows 7 (October 2009), Windows Vista (with approximately 400 million Internet users) was the second most widely used operating system on the Internet with an approximately 18.6% market share, the most widely used being Windows XP with an approximately 63.3% market share. As of the end of May 2010, Windows Vista's market share estimates range from 15.26% to 26.04%. Windows Vista is intended to be a technology-based release, to provide a base to include advanced technologies, many of which are related to how the system functions and thus not readily visible to the user. An example is the complete restructuring of the architecture of the audio, print, display, and networking subsystems; although the results of this work are visible to software developers, end-users will only see what appear to be evolutionary changes in the user interface. Vista includes technologies such as ReadyBoost and ReadyDrive which employ fast flash memory (located on USB drives and hybrid hard disk drives) to improve system performance by caching commonly used programs and data. This manifests itself in improved battery life on notebook computers as well, since a hybrid drive can be spun down when not in use. Another new technology called SuperFetch utilizes machine learning techniques to analyze usage patterns to allow Windows Vista to make intelligent decisions about what content should be present in system memory at any given time. It uses almost all the extra RAM as disk cache. In conjunction with SuperFetch, an automatic built-in Windows Disk Defragmenter makes sure that those applications are strategically positioned on the hard disk where they can be loaded into memory very quickly with the least amount of physical movement of the hard disk’s read-write heads. As part of the redesign of the networking architecture, IPv6 has been fully incorporated into the operating system and a number of performance improvements have been introduced, such as TCP window scaling. Earlier versions of Windows typically needed third-party wireless networking software to work properly, but this is not the case with Vista, which includes more comprehensive wireless networking support. For graphics, Vista introduces a new Windows Display Driver Model and a major revision to Direct3D. The new driver model facilitates the new Desktop Window Manager, which provides the tearing-free desktop and special effects that are the cornerstones of Windows Aero. Direct3D 10, developed in conjunction with major graphics card manufacturers, is a new architecture with more advanced shader support, and allows the graphics processing unit to render more complex scenes without assistance from the CPU. It features improved load balancing between CPU and GPU and also optimizes data transfer between them. WDDM also provides video content playback that rivals typical consumer electronics devices. It does this by making it easy to connect to external monitors, providing for protected HD video playback and increasing overall video playback quality. For the first time in Windows, graphics processing unit (GPU) multitasking is possible, enabling users to run more than one GPU-intensive application simultaneously. At the core of the operating system, many improvements have been made to the memory manager, process scheduler and I/O scheduler. The Heap Manager implements additional features such as integrity checking in order to improve robustness and defend against buffer overflow security exploits, although this comes at the price of breaking backward compatibility with some legacy applications. A Kernel Transaction Manager has been implemented that enables applications to work with the file system and Registry using atomic transaction operations. Removed Features: Features removed from Windows Vista Some notable Windows XP features and components have been replaced or removed in Windows Vista, including several shell and Windows Explorer features, multimedia features, networking related functionality, Windows Messenger, NTBackup, the network Messenger Service, HyperTerminal, MSN Explorer, Active Desktop, and the replacement of NetMeeting with Windows Meeting Space. Windows Vista also does not include the Windows XP "Luna" visual theme, or most of the classic color schemes which have been part of Windows since the Windows 3.x era. The "Hardware profiles" startup feature has also been removed, along with support for older motherboard technologies like the EISA bus, APM and Game port support (though on the 32-bit version game port support can be enabled by applying an older driver). IP over FireWire (TCP/IP over IEEE 1394) has been removed as well. The IPX/SPX Protocol has also been removed, although it can be enabled by a third-party plug-in. Editions Windows Vista editions: Windows Vista ships in eight editions. These are roughly divided into two target markets, consumer and business, with editions varying to cater for specific sub-markets. For consumers, there are four editions, with three available for developed countries. Windows Vista Starter edition is limited to emerging markets. Windows Vista Home Basic is intended for budget users with low needs. Windows Vista Home Premium covers the majority of the consumer market, and contains applications for creating and using multimedia. The home editions cannot join a Windows Server domain. For businesses, there are three editions. Windows Vista Business is specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses, while Windows Vista Enterprise is only available to customers participating in Microsoft's Software Assurance program. Windows Vista Ultimate contains the complete feature-set of both the Home and Business (combination of both Home Premium and Enterprise) editions, as well as a set of Windows Ultimate Extras, and is aimed at enthusiasts. All editions except Windows Vista Starter support both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) processor architectures. In the European Union, Home Basic N and Business N versions are also available. These come without Windows Media Player, due to EU sanctions brought against Microsoft for violating anti-trust laws. Similar sanctions exist in South Korea. Service Pack 1: Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) was released on February 4, 2008, alongside Windows Server 2008 to OEM partners, it was a five-month beta test period. The initial deployment of the service pack caused a number of machines to continually reboot, rendering the machines unusable.[66] This caused Microsoft to temporarily suspend automatic deployment of the service pack until the problem was resolved. The synchronized release date of the two operating systems reflected the merging of the workstation and server kernels back into a single code base for the first time since Windows 2000. MSDN subscribers were able to download SP1 on February 15, 2008. SP1 became available to current Windows Vista users on Windows Update and the Download Center on March 18, 2008.[67][68][69] Initially, the service pack only supported 5 languages - English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese. Support for the remaining 31 languages was released on April 14, 2008.[70] A whitepaper published by Microsoft near the end of August 2007 outlined the scope and intent of the service pack, identifying three major areas of improvement: reliability and performance, administration experience, and support for newer hardware and standards. One area of particular note is performance. Areas of improvement include file copy operations, hibernation, logging off on domain-joined machines, JavaScript parsing in Internet Explorer, network file share browsing, Windows Explorer ZIP file handling, and Windows Disk Defragmenter. The ability to choose individual drives to defragment is being reintroduced as well. Service Pack 1 Introduced support for some new hardware and software standards, notably the exFAT file system, 802.11n wireless networking, IPv6 over VPN connections, and the Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol. Booting a system using Extensible Firmware Interface on x64 systems was also introduced; this feature had originally been slated for the initial release of Vista but was delayed due to a lack of compatible hardware at the time. Two areas have seen changes in SP1 that have come as the result of concerns from software vendors. One of these is desktop search; users will be able to change the default desktop search program to one provided by a third party instead of the Microsoft desktop search program that comes with Windows Vista, and desktop search programs will be able to seamlessly tie in their services into the operating system. These changes come in part due to complaints from Google, whose Google Desktop Search application was hindered by the presence of Vista's built-in desktop search. In June 2007, Google claimed that the changes being introduced for SP1 "are a step in the right direction, but they should be improved further to give consumers greater access to alternate desktop search providers". The other area of note is a set of new security APIs being introduced for the benefit of antivirus software that currently relies on the unsupported practice of patching the kernel (see Kernel Patch Protection). An update to DirectX 10, named DirectX 10.1, marked mandatory several features which were previously optional in Direct3D 10 hardware. Graphics cards will be required to support DirectX 10.1. SP1 includes a kernel (6001) that matches the version shipped with Windows Server 2008. The Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) was replaced by the Group Policy Object Editor. An updated downloadable version of the Group Policy Management Console was released soon after the service pack. SP1 enables support for hotpatching, a reboot-reduction servicing technology designed to maximize uptime. It works by allowing Windows components to be updated (or "patched") while they are still in use by a running process. Hotpatch-enabled update packages are installed via the same methods as traditional update packages, and will not trigger a system reboot. Service Pack 2: Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista was released to manufacturing on April 28, 2009, and released to Microsoft Download Center and Windows Update on May 26, 2009. In addition to a number of security and other fixes, a number of new features have been added. However, it did not include Internet Explorer 8: Windows Search 4.0 (currently available for SP1 systems as a standalone update) Feature Pack for Wireless adds support for Bluetooth 2.1 Windows Feature Pack for Storage enables the data recording onto Blu-ray media Windows Connect Now (WCN) to simplify Wi-Fi configuration Improved support for resuming with active Wi-Fi connections Enables the exFAT file system to support UTC timestamps, which allows correct file synchronisation across time zones Support for ICCD/CCID smart cards Support for VIA 64-bit CPUs Improves audio and video performance for streaming high-definition content Improves Windows Media Center (WMC) in content protection for TV Provides an improved power management policy that is up to 10% more efficient than the original in some configurations Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 share a single service pack binary, reflecting the fact that their code bases were joined with the release of Server 2008. Service Pack 2 is not a cumulative update meaning that Service Pack 1 must be installed first. Platform Update: The Platform Update for Windows Vista was released on October 27, 2009. It includes major new components that shipped with Windows 7, as well as updated runtime libraries. It requires Service Pack 2 of Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 and is on Windows Update as a Recommended download. The Platform Update allows application developers to target both Windows Vista and Windows 7. It consists of the following components: Windows Graphics runtime: Direct2D, DirectWrite, Direct3D 11, DXGI 1.1, and WARP; Updates to Windows Imaging Component; Updates to XPS Print API, XPS Document API and XPS Rasterization Service; Windows Automation API (updates to MSAA and UI Automation); (will also be available on Windows XP) Windows Portable Devices Platform; (adds support for MTP over Bluetooth and MTP Device Services) Windows Ribbon API; Animation Manager Library. Some updates will also be available as separate releases for both Windows XP and Windows Vista: Windows Management Framework: Windows PowerShell 2.0, Windows Remote Management 2.0, BITS 4.0 Remote Desktop Connection 7.0 (RDP7) client; Although extensive, the Platform Update does not bring Windows Vista to the level of features and performance offered by Windows 7. For example, even though DXGI 1.1 update introduces support for hardware 2D acceleration featured by WDDM 1.1 video drivers, only Direct2D and DirectWrite will employ it and GDI/GDI+ will continue to rely on software rendering. Also, even though Direct3D 11 runtime will be able to run on D3D9-class hardware and WDDM drivers using "feature levels" first introduced in Direct3D 10.1, Desktop Windows Manager has not been updated to use either Direct3D 10.1 or WARP software rasterizer. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Windows Vista System Requirements (Vista Capable) Processor: 800 MHz Memory: 512 MB Graphics Card: DirectX 9.0 capable Graphics Memory: 32 MB HDD Capacity: 20 GB HDD Free Space: 15 GB Other Drives: DVD-ROM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Windows Vista System Requirements (Vista Premium Ready) Processor: 1 GHz Memory: 1 GB Graphics Card: DirectX 9.0 capable and WDDM 1.0 driver support Graphics Memory: 128 MB HDD Capacity: 40 GB HDD Free Space: 15 GB Other Drives: DVD-ROM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Physical Memory (RAM) Limits In 32-bit Windows Windows Vista Ultimate: 4 GB Windows Vista Enterprise: 4 GB Windows Vista Business: 4 GB Windows Vista Home Premium: 4 GB Windows Vista Home Basic: 4 GB Windows Vista Starter: 1 GB -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Physical Memory (RAM) Limit in 64-bit Windows Windows Vista Ultimate: 128 GB Windows Vista Enterprise: 128 GB Windows Vista Business: 128 GB Windows Vista Home Premium: 16 GB Windows Vista Home Basic: 8 GB Windows Vista Starter: N/A

@ Computer-User
Thanks for doing what you do. It's a selfless service that those like you provide, in choosing to give of your time, energy, knowledge, etc......to the needy or/and ignorant masses like myself. It's greatly appreciated!
I have a genuine COA for Windows 7 home Premium. Can I use it to authenticate/legitimize this copy (by the means that the makers intended)?
I ask as it would be a total waste to have it but to never use it (and, by doing so, perhaps have to deal with some combative anti-piracy, etc, issue from Microsoft at X point down the line)?
If it is possible what (if anything) would I need to change to this installed download?
Thanks!

free41andall (2010-11-17)

Dammit!
Please ignore my DUMBASS question. Too many tabs open, and failing to take the appropriate notice.
Next time I'll try to confine posting my questions in the appropriate Windows 7 torrent section.
Apologies!

After You Burned The .ISO File Onto A DVD-R Disk, You Are Trying To Do Windows Installation Though Restart Your Computer Aren't You? You Haft To Place The DVD Inside The ROM Drive, And Start Your Computer, You Haft To Make Sure You Set Your Bios Settings Too Be Able To Boot From The DVD, Then When It Asks You To Press Any Key Too Boot From DVD Then Press A Key :)

user95 (2010-11-19)

hey, is there any way you can dl this without a dvd drive?

 Computer-User (2010-11-19)

"user95"
Yes, You Still Haft To Download This Torrent, Take The .ISO Program And Unpack (Extract) The Files Inside The .ISO File, Your Best Bet Would Be Too Place Them Inside Of A File Of It's Own :)
Then Do Windows Installation From The Desktop Or How Ever You Want Too Call It :)

_purple_ (2010-11-20)

Is this SP2 for Windows Vista Home Premium or is it Windows Vista Home Premium with SP2 integrated?

_purple_ (2010-11-20)

Forgot to mention that I'm asking this^ because for some reason it won't boot even though I've set BIOS to boot from DVD.

scotta87 (2010-11-21)

Hi, is this an OEM Version ?

& On Your Second Question, Did You Burn The .ISO File By It'sef? If You Burned More Than The .ISO File, Windows Will Not Boot, & What Speed Did You Burn The DVD AT? :)

user95 (2010-11-23)

can you be more specific about the extraction and the file in which i should place it in?
...
and does it take a while to capitalize every single word? lol

 Computer-User (2010-11-23)

"user95"
You Do NOT Need To Extract Anything :) If You Do The Windows Will Not Be Burned Right... The Only Thing You Need Too Do With The .ISO File Is Burn The .ISO File Onto A DVD Disk :) And You Can Only Burn The .ISO File By Itself Though, If You Don't Burn It By Itself, The DVD Will Not Boot During Start Up :) :)
Na Not Really :P
"lilith31"
Yes You Need To Download The .ISO Too USB Flash Tool Program :)
Um.. It Isn't Gonna Hurt Too Try To Upgrade From XP Doing USB Type Windows Installation, It Will Tell You If You Can't Do That Type Of Installation Anyways :)

user95 (2010-11-23)

i already told you i don't have a dvd drive :(

If You Don't Have A DVD Drive, Then You're Gonna Haft To Do A USB Flash Drive Type Installation, What Do You Have That You Can Install Windows On? :)
"numbwang"
Yes Everything "Should" Go As You Want It Too :)
What Is Your Computer Specs If I May Ask? :)
"madmax8899"
You Are Just Burning The .ISO File Right? There Is ONLY 1 File That You Need To Burn Onto A Blank DVD Disk :)
If You BURN MORE THAN THE .ISO FILE, The DVD Will NOT Burn Correctly.... :) :)
"yelloo"
Thank You For All Of The Support!! :) :) :P

Pessa666 (2010-11-26)

hi all, first i didn't dl this file but reading the troubles peeps getting i would like 2 comment..
i use ultraiso. if i want 2 install on a machine that has no dvd like a mini laptop or such i use ultra iso 2 extract the iso too a flash disk, make sure it is big enough for the windows u are installing and check if it is formatted correctly for your machine.. that means some bios do not take ntfs format so 2 be on the ssafe side for older machines use fat. for burning a file like this i use nero and set the burn speed at minimum. any other iso program with build in burn option can handle this task, like i mentioned i use ultra iso and it uses nero 2 burn so i prefer 2 just use nero directly so i can set the brun speed manually.
a minimum burn speed will make the dvd more reliable. I got nero 10 from a amazing torrent site called "The Pirate Bay" same for ultra iso. btw ultra iso also replaced my deamon warez cuz of it's virtual drive option, any other iso like a game or microsoft Office 2010.iso can be directly mounted and installed, you can also adjust iso files or make a rip from an existing dvd or such..
hope it works out for all.
Pes

autodriver2010 (2010-11-29)

hey Computer-User, thanks for this! I have few questions>
I have already a Vista home premiume installed on my laptop.
1.Can I repaire/overwrite my current OS using this torrent?
2.If yes, then > Is there any chance to loss my data of my HD?
3.What about my currently installed programs?
4.What files i have to burn after downloading this torrent?
thanks,
waiting for your answers

 Computer-User (2010-11-29)

"autodriver2010"
You Only Need Too Burn 1 File, That Is The .ISO File :)
You Can Burn The Activation Program & The "Keys" .Txt Document Onto A Separate CD :)
But Keep The Activation Program & The "Keys" Document In The SAME Folder Or Activation Will Not Work.
The Type Of Windows Installation You're Wanting Too Do Is A Upgrade Type Installation.
After The DVD Is Burned, You Will Need To Start The Installation From The Desktop Not By Restarting Your Computer.
Click On Your "Start Menu", And Click On "My Computer" Right Click On The DVD & Click On Open.
You Will Need To Start The Installation From There, And After Windows Installation Is Complete....
All Of Your Old Files Will Be In A Folder Named "Old Windows Files"
You Will Find All Of Your Old Files Inside Your Main Hard Drive In That Folder :) :)

autodriver2010 (2010-11-29)

3.What about my currently installed programs?

autodriver2010 (2010-11-29)

thanks bro! for helping and guiding me.
And
Do I need to activate ?
when does it ask to activate?
i mean, How to activate my Operating System?

autodriver2010 (2010-11-29)

ok, thanks
So i don't need to run activation as u say if i m upgrading my vista.
One more question :
i've started setup as u said from my computer but, it asks for drivers. Without that i am not able to click on 'Next'.
what to do?

rezor664 (2010-11-29)

This will be awesome. Ever since my netbook crapped out on me I've been needing something like this. Thanks a lot for this.

saiflulu (2010-11-29)

seeeeeeed plz, i need that window asap ,

boike-w (2010-11-30)

He computer-user!
First of all, thanks for putting this torrent online!
I installed windows vista by following all the steps. When i restarted my computer I placed the cd with the activation key in my computer and I activated windows (fujitsu home premium)
This also worked fine.
The only problem is that my computer can't find any wireless networks anymore.
I used to have vista, then i upgraded to windows 7, but i didn't like it, so i downgraded again to windows vista, but now i can't connect to the internet.
I hope you have an answer, greetz boike

Is there Russian language included?

 Computer-User (2010-12-10)

"Nazarinel"
No There Is Only English By Default :)
If You Need Extra Languages, You Can Use Windows Update Too Add Any Language That You Want :) :)

 Computer-User (2010-12-12)

Ill_Disposed (2010-12-14)

Hi!
I have a serial nr for Vista on my laptop. If i install your Vista, will this serial work? Different languages.
Ty for reply;)

Cobthecobbler (2010-12-20)

Hello,
I have burned the .iso onto a DVD+RW disc and when I try to boot from CD-ROM nothing happens. How can I change this to boot from DVD or did I do something wrong?

 Computer-User (2010-12-20)

"Ill_Disposed"
Is Your Product Key For The First Home Premium, Or Was It For Service Pack 1 Or Service Pack 2?
"Cobthecobbler"
You Didn't Burn The .ISO File Correctly lol
Try Reburning The .ISO File With MagicISO, PowerISO Or I Only Reccomend Nero :) (Nero Burning ROM)

Sneijdertheman (2010-12-24)

Mysterious2k10 (2010-12-26)

Great.. back to Vista. I'm actually forced to use this over my purchased copy of Windows 7, since some of my external devices won't work with it. Why? The developers, despite the large ammount of time they've had, won't release drivers for Win7.. I'm guessing they want me to pull even more money out of my ass and buy new hardware. But they can go f**k themselves. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it."
Anyways, thanks for the upload. Really saved me here. Will be seeding. :P
Peace

nijal (2010-12-29)

hey. i'm trying to install this on my mac using bootcamp. is it fine to do that?

autodriver2010 (2011-01-01)

Sure would be nice if people would actually seed and not "seed" @ .00000000000001 mbps. I should be getting the usual 7,000+kbps and I'm getting about 23 here.

Dezachu (2011-01-04)

Well my laptops gone all screwy on me so I've decided to reinstall Vista. I've checked the version and stuff, but I'm no expert with compys.. Can make my way around them generally.
I've got my key and all that malarky from when I bought and activated it in the first place. Think the laptop is about 2 years old? Will this torrent work with my key? Don't wanna reinstall it all only to find I don't have a key!

 Computer-User (2011-01-04)

"xFaithx"
How's The Download Speed Going Now?
"Dezachu"
Yes As Long As You Have A Windows Vista Home Premium "Service Pack 2" Genuine Product Key, Then You Will Have No Problem.
If The Product Key You Have Is For The "First Release" Or For "Service Pack 1" Then No It Will Not Work.
But As Long As It's For "Service Pack 2" :) Then You're A-OK. :P

TS, can I use my own serial number (i got in on the back of my notebook) in this image ?

llordmikle (2011-01-16)

why I can't use SP 2 with serial number from SP1? )

Nicksta94 (2011-01-17)

There are plenty of seeders on this torrent. Shame they are all seeding at 0.1 kb/s. I'm connected to 300 seeders and I'm getting 15-40 kb/s. I'm in for a hell of a wait aye.

 Computer-User (2011-01-18)

"sweet4honey83"
What's Going On? :)
"llordmikle"
Yeah If Your Product Key Is For Windows Vista Home Premium (Service Pack 2) Then Yes :)

I burned to DVD and tried installing but I am being asked to select drivers to be installed and none are listed...does anyone know how I can fix this?? Many thanks in advance!

depthead (2011-06-05)

I've started installing and so far so good, running a little bit slow, but I'm not sure if that's my computer or DVD rather than the actual torrent itself, takes a little while to load but it's worth it :)
@pampjuice
It sounds as though you're trying to boot from your desktop instead of the DVD drive, go into the bios settings and change to boot from DVD, if you're not sure how, have a quick look at this website:
http://www.simplyguides.net/guides/boot_from_cd/boot_from_cd.shtml

Hope that helps.

depthead (2011-06-05)

Done, and working 100% - all I had to do was sort out my own drivers. Thanks for upload :D

TheNarcissist (2011-07-08)

Hi!
I burned the file to a DVD, and followed the instructions. It started installing for a while, but then it turned off and and now it wont turn back on. When i press the power button, it starts, but stops after about 1-2 seconds.
What is this?

Farzin67 (2011-07-23)

Thanks for the upload, works great, appreciate it.
@ TheNarcissist: Looks like you got hardware problem like over heating CPU or faulty power supply, you better take your computer to a qualified tech.

@DutchPirate16...your not connecting to the internet cuz u have to install ur drivers again after a fresh install of windows. hope u backed up your drivers before installing windows. if u didnt, then you have to go to ur device manager and find all the drivers for the hardware thats installed on ur pc.

g3r2rd (2011-10-13)

@DutchPirate16: You should update your network drivers. I had the same problem and it was caused by an outdated network driver.

aslan248 (2011-12-01)

@honda990:Make sure your writing an image file to your disc.I always use image burn.Download image burn and use that. When you open image burn click write image files to disc, select the iso you want to burn and off you go.I use it all the time without any problems.Hope this helps.

aslan248 (2011-12-01)

@honda990:Also if your using Nero, make sure you are only burning the ISO file to the disc.

Rech94 (2011-12-30)

Hi guys i just installed this and it works 100% !
what i did:
1. downloaded driver solution(transfer it to a usb flash driver)
2. mounted it in deamon tools (i had windows 7)
3. ran a normal setup for os. ( you will get the windows.old, but thats for backup but just delete it later)
4. then i just ran the dirver pack solution and everything works ! thanx dude !!

Rech94 (2011-12-31)

hi guys! This worsk perfect so tell you how to install this easy
step 1: download driver pack solution and place it on a usb flash drive.
step 2: download deamon tools
step 3 : mount this file in deamon tools
step 4: just run the instalation, but it dosent work to upgrade. but that is kinda good because you get the windows.old folder at your programfiles. if something goes wrong you just start the rollback
step 5: run the driver solution and then you get wireless network and everything !
so guys enjoy ! (Y)

NoseWho (2012-07-27)

McAfee just found a "Generic PUP.a" virus in this torrent download! What's up with that??????

Vicpdx192 (2012-08-03)

works great! Here is a FAQ for this download:
Question 1: Why is my___ Not working?
Answer: When doing a clean install of windows all drivers get erased so you will need to get them reinstalled.
Question 2: My Anti-Virus said there is a virus in this file.
Answer: Most torrents will be flagged by virus scanners and malware but in truth are "false positives". If you have McAfee switch right away as it is a terrible anti-virus scanner.
Question 3: I get errors when installing this torrent.
Answer: Make sure when burning this torrent to a disc to burn it at the lowest speed possible as by doing that, it will help the data transfer onto the disc better and less errors will occur.
There you go!

Computer-User creats fake account and gives his torrents good ratings tricking other Pirates into believing it's a legit account. This is not a JOKE. i've installed this twice with the same outcome. after a month it starts asking for a product key, and it won't accept the product key from this laptop. it is a vista product key that came with the laptop. it also says in the lower right corner that this is not a genuine copy of windows vista.

Ahseyo (2012-09-21)

This should work just fine, just remember not to install the update beginning on kb9 and you should be fine.
Any update besides that is ok, the kb9----- update contains the update to check if your windows is actually genuine.

Little help... I have an acer one netbook that came with the windows 7 starter installed .... Is it not possible for me to upgrade via this download seeing as it does not come with a CD/DVD drive?

oxidious (2012-12-14)

First of all, you wouldn't be upgrading to vista, windows 7 is a later version of windows than vista. Second, I would always recommend 7 over vista. If you However want to upgrade TO windows 7, you should use a windows 7 disc or torrent.

Hi I have a question.
My Girl has Windows Vista Home Premium. We have CD key thus we do not have any recovery disk partition which is strange, no recovery manager. I can't reinstall the software via F11 command upon startup. Oh and It's HP pavillon notebook.
1. I want to format C drive (software one) plus reinstall windows. Can I do this that way :
Set CD boot enabled, mount your Vista ISO and run it during computer startup. I did it like that with XP and it always worked but i dont know if it works with vista

Microsoft is pretty cool. At first, I was really into Apple. However, Apple mainly specializes in hardware. They make good quality hardwares. They look really nice. However, Microsoft has some really cool softwares. Windows Vista is one of them. I have both the Home Premium and Ultimate edition. I have tried 8 and the new OS really sucks. IMHO, I really think they should have stuck with Vista. Anyways, this is just my two cents. Maybe someone appreciates the 2 pennies. haha

Hey guys, after burning the .ISO image to a disk, would I be able to use that disk to install Windows Vista on my iMac (late 2012 model) that's running the newest version of OSX Mountain Lion via bootcamp? Thanks.

@joker1983:
You're a fucking noob!
If it says there's a trojan it's obviously because of the crack that follows the fucking installation, as "Computer-User" is that nice to us to plant a nice little program which makes this version a "real" pirate-copy.
The trojan you're experiencing is what makes this pirate-copy able to work as a FULL version of Windows.
So stop trolling your shit on the internet, and start reading before posting!

IF YOU HAVE A LAPTOP OR A DESKTOP BOUGHT FROM THE STORE
1. If a laptop, turn it upside-down and look at the "Microsoft Windows" lable that is placed among other labels (it's the one with a lot of colors).
2. If a desktop, look at the side of the PC or at the back, check for the same lable as described above (one with a lot of colors).
3. There should be a serial code which is the "License" for THAT computer which the label is placed on.
4. On the label it also tells you what "Product" that serial is made for.
5. If the label tells you "Vista Home Premium", you download what the lable says.
If the label says "Windows XP Home", you download that, same with 7, 8, 95, 98, ME, 2000, etc....
During installation or whenever Windows asks you for a "Product Key", look at that lable and enter whatever serial is written on it.
Voila, now you have a legit Windows by using a copy downloaded from TPB
If your AV tells you there's a virus or trojan or whatever within the download, it's the "KEYGENERATOR" which is supposed to edit system files, which is needed if you're going to use a cracked version of Windows. However if you're going to use your own serial located on YOUR label you're not going to use the KEYGENERATOR anyway.
What's the KEYGENERATOR doing?...
The KEYGENERATOR generates a random serial (product key) which is needed for Windows to activate, without it your copy of Windows will expire within 30 days.
The KEYGENERATOR is also blocking one of the updates from "Microsoft Update", one that is supposed to detect if your copy of Windows is legit. Of course if you're using YOUR lable you don't have to worry about this at all either way. However for those using the KEYGENERATOR this update will automatically be "unchecked" in the list of updates, and you should not attempt to download any "unchecked" updates from Microsoft Update.
Your AntiVirus may react to this KEYGENERATOR as a threat to your PC, because it IS a crack.
If you're going to install a Windows version WITHOUT any serial keys, you're going to need this trojan as it will do you good. It is programmed to crack your version of Windows, and without that crack you'll never be able to install Windows unless you've bought a PC with pre-written serial, or if you're bought a legit copy of Windows from a store.
So stop whining about viruses, trojans etc... If you're not pleased with false warnings from your AV, yet a free copy of Windows - then go buy it!

Can this be used to repair a currently installed vista system? How do I change the install resolution, which makes everything stretched?

sonomaholiday (2014-08-30)

I thought i would ask this rather dull pc question here - I need to instal vista and erase my hd - start over on my pc laptop. When getting one of these vista files instals from pb - usually it is a disk image file ( im on a mac - the pc is a dedicated server for my tv system) If I burn it to a dvd with toast - to the pc it looks like there is nothing on it. If I make a data dvd and copy the files to toast, it says its aboput 2t and needs 512 dvd to complete... sheesh.. then i tried to make an iso dvd and in the pc again it looks like nothing os on the dvd. I am going to try and find the windows 7 vista that fits on a flash drive and try that , but am pretty sure i will have no luck there either... any ideas, leads? joe the mac guy
