Is it their huge size? I tried Winamp and CopytoDvd.

Yeah dude you can't. It was originally on a Super Audio CD which holds more than a normal CD. You'll need to convert it to something else, like a lower level FLAC and or even mp3 and then burn it.

Yes it will play back over HDMI or anything else with foobar2000. Doesn't matter what equipment you have your soundcard will process it.

Question, how do you rip 6 channel SACD? I have a few and wanted to back them up to my computer, but everything I've seen says it isn't possible. But here it is. Is the just a recording of each channel as it is being played, i.e. you've converted it to analog?

1- Thanks to the uploader. I dont know how to repay you!
2- I have downloaded 5-6 version of this albums , but so far , this is the best. Play this with an audiophile headphone (namely from Grado, Senn, Audio Tech, Denon, Shure , AKG , etc. ) and you will experience something that you will never feel before.
The biggest difference of this format , you can hear it on the starting of the Time song.
But I , of course able to tell the different from the first track.
Maybe the difference in bit and the frequency made the changes in the songs.
3- This format cannot be burned into normal CD.
There is a special CD, SACD for this , which is unavailable on 2012, and you cannot simply copy it. In fact, SACD cannot be copy, and not all player can play the true surround of this format. The fact, i also hear this by 2-channel sound only.
Hell the size is 3GB and sadly i cant play it on any portable device
In fact I want to experience what is like to play this album on 5.1 surround headphone.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!
This is an unreal torrent. I don't understand why people want to convert this or put them on an iPod or whatever they want to do with them. This is designed to be played in lossless quality over a 5.1 system. I have a high end surround sound connected to my computer with an audiophile grade sound card. It really breaks my heart to listen to people complain about how the file size so large, yet they can't tell the difference between this torrent and DSOTM done in 128kbps MP3. You people need something better than a pair of Altec Lansings connected to your old Dell desktop.

Played it with Foobar2000 through a DAC, stereo amp and two speakers and it would sound incredible if all 6 channels played at once. The sound loop at the beginning of Money only plays 2 of the five sound effects. "Short sharp shock" is barely heard too.

You can change Foobar to play 5.1 recordings in stereo. It's in the Preferences.

guys, it's not only "foobar" that can play it. VLC does a good job at it, but I personally prefer Media player classic with K-lite codecs - ffdshow to handle the audio. it allows not only for custom channel output (say you have 4 speakers and the tracks are 5.1, you can output at 4.0), but also for per channel volume setting. Also, for those asking about portable devices, I have a Cowon Z2 which can in fact play the 5.1 .flac files via neutron player. But that is absolute overkill since audio output is 2.0, so i converted them to 24/48 2.0 flacs via Media Coder. For the true quality I agree with the guys above - get yourself a Hi-Fi amp (the bulky kinda thing that eats a lot of space, not the nowadays soundbar crap) and some good speakers (again, I might be nostalgic but I actually find the 80 thick wood cabinet 3-way stuff much better than today's made in China bookshelf crap. Even if it's a Bose, it's still crap man. Listen to some of the old stuff and you'll never want "new, innovative" tech again)
Other than that - a true feast for your ears.

This is a great torrent! I have not yet hooked this up to the 5.1 yet (just got done downloading) but i have opened the audio files up in audacity and there are 6 separate audio channels in these. I did notice some distortion on some of the channels(i.e. clipping) but when i played the channel solo, it was hardly noticeable. Cant wait to hear this in its full 5.1 glory over the B&W's. Fantastic rip. This is how ripping SACDs should be done. Unlike the other ones I see other titles on the Pirate Bay which say their rips are from SACD but they give use CD quality or they give us MP3s.

No on has mentioned you have to play the songs in numbered order from 1 to 10 inorder so the songs blend in to sound like 1 long song if not then everything is all screwed up
