lame!!! the fix broke cs3 activation for me! dont use!!

MrCalifornian (2008-06-27)

Does anyone have another activation code because Adobe knows this one is bad.

rstanley (2008-06-28)

works fine- be sure to block Acrobat w/ your firewall

MrCalifornian (2008-06-30)

Do you have to block it with each access of Adobe? And since mine is ruined now from my own stupidity, do I have to do a clean uninstall and reinstall?

Hi Guys!

And Adobe shot down after a few seconds also....???
Could anybody help me?

jwylie1 (2008-09-05)

Works! Thanks cybercne and Share-Dude - you're both legends

jwylie1 (2008-09-05)

My mistake. Adobe know about this serial no. Anyone have another one?

aybg (2008-09-11)

"My mistake. Adobe know about this serial no. Anyone have another one?"
Hi, I just experienced the same problem - a message from Adobe saying that the serial code is no longer valid. But I've figured out what you need to do! When you install, you need to do so for the trial version, then add the serial code when you first run the product...
This combined with the first two posts should get the programme running fine!
If you entered the serial code during registration you'll need to reinstall...

sabot105mm (2009-02-23)

for the people who have trouble opening acrobat 9 after a few days (product license has expired, reinstall) do this
add all that is below to your %windir%/system32/drivers/etc/hosts and open the hosts file, remember first to uncheck the read only property in the properties window for that file.
this way acrobat cant go online and see that the crack is indeed black listed.

truthy (2009-03-10)

works 100%, after editing the hosts file like sabot105mm wrote do the following:
2.) Disconnect from the I-Net
3.) Run Setup.exe (extract it before)
4.) Install & choose test for 30 days the first time
5.) run acrobat & enter serial: 1380-1601-7539-9354-7032-1203
6.) replace AMTLibWrapper.dll with the cracked one (or rename the old one)
8.) reconnect to the net
9.) in Acrobat Select Help-->Search for Updates
10.) Block Adobe Updater via your Firewall!!!

Iron Horse (2009-04-17)

Due to Windows Vista not recognizing the old Adobe Pro, I too had get the new one, but am encountering same problems. Thank you sabot and truthy! But I'm a neophyte and can't find the location of those folders and files.
What the heck is "%windir%/system32/drivers/etc/hosts" and where is it (I couldn't find it after a long search).
Also, same question about the "AMTLibWrapper.dll" file - how do I find it? I have the one given with the fix, but have no idea where it is located within the newly loaded folders/files.
Thanks for your selflessly helping us neanderthals!

IpodTouchGuy (2009-08-08)

Hey sabot, how do you edit that file? what program? 4 me it wont open... and what do you mean add all that is below to your hosts file? Hosts is a file, how can you put anything in it? confused, help plz, o knowledgeable ppls of tpb.
Iron Horse, you should have a folder somewhere called windows, or something, which contains your whole os. in there there should b a folder called system 32, and so on as in what sabot said. You probably got confused; by %windir% he meant your windows folder, not a folder called %windir%... as for the .dll file, im not sure, but try searching 4 it...

IpodTouchGuy (2009-08-08)

sorry you've probaly already searched? if you havent, try that. if u have, try reinstalling acrobat, then search 4 it.

wulles (2009-08-25)

LANGUAGE ?

IpodTouchGuy (2009-08-31)

ok sorry 4 stupidity. I realized you have to open the hosts file in notepad. Ironhorse, the dll file is in your program files under adobe, have a look 4 it.

jessez (2009-09-08)

lol where is the detail install instructions this torrent is kinda sad

jessez (2009-09-12)

only way i could get this running 100% right was by first follow sabot105mm directions. which should look like this.
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost (localhost must be here)
now after that you : disconnect from the Net
installed it and select trial
now copy the crack AMTLibWrapper.dll (backup the orginal)Do not update this.make sure before you connect to the internet. block the updater which is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Updater6
called(Adobe_Updater)
now make sure you select Adobe_Updater with your firewall i used windows firewall in advanced security settings using windows vista. just select outbound and create rule etc.. now before you connect to the internet make sure you go to register creat a rubish email and crap and submit it and then restart your computer the register will Gray out after you restart your computer and it is fully operational your welcome fuckers

jessez (2009-09-12)

now i wanted to post once more because other bad directions lead in me wasting time and other people wasting time you never need to put the serial key in because it will fuck up and say need to repair and close every 2 secs.
So what you do is you use that crack and never need to put in the serial , i'm telling you this because i followed truthy's directions and wasted an hour of my freaking time .

jessez (2009-09-12)

Look formy directions on torrents they always rock/work

hackrobat (2009-12-01)

Ok, I've done all of this. Swapped the .dll file, altered the host file, installed trial version only to enter the SN later, blocked Adobe_Updated with my firewall...you name it. The program STILL closes after about 10 seconds. WTF? Please post a fix, someone!!

Mr247 (2009-12-12)

i know this is a newbie comment, but what is the best firewall to use to block these programs? like what are some of you guys using?

Mr247 (2009-12-13)

having the same problem hackrobat is having... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

cre8ive2 (2010-02-26)

Hi everyone,
After many failed attempts to install this, I figured a way that hopefully helps. My finding is that after adjusting the host file as indicated, you need to enter the serial first and go through license activation while offline and THEN install the enclosed fix. Here are the complete steps that worked for me:
- run notepad as administrator
- click open and navigate to the host file in the path c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (use show all files, because "host" doesn't show as txt file)
- copy the above list from jessez into the host file and save (have the two local host items in there). This is the list:
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost (localhost must be here)
- unplug your internet cable
- extract the apex9_Win_WEB_WWEFG.exe
- run the autoplay.exe
- choose trial installation
- wait 10 minutes for the installation to complete and click finish
- read/ignore text: upon launching you may be asked to:
1) accept license agreement
2) activate product
3) register your copy of the software
- run your firewall program and create a rule for
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Updater6\Adobe_Updater.exe
The rule is: "deny" (access to the internet) and close/ok
- start acrobat9 by clicking on the desktop icon
- firewall will create a rule for acrobat9 (this is not the same as the updater) to allow internet access
- license agreement window will show up at the same time: accept
- acrobat will start with "help improve acrobat experience" -> no thank you
- serial window will show up: enter serial 1380-1601-7539-9354-7032-1203 and click next
- license activation window will show up: click ok (still not online)
- click help>registration and register with bogus info end click "register now" (still not online)
- Thanks! Your registration info will be sent to Adobe. If you are not currently connected to the internet, your registration will
be sent to Adobe the next time your are connected. Click close
- close acrobat
- open the folder 'serial fix' from your torrent download and notice the AMTLibWrapper.dll file
- navigate in other explorer window to c"\program files\Adobe\Acrobat9.0\Acrobat\ and find AMTLibWrapper.dll there
- rename this AMTLibWrapper.dll into AMTLibWrapper_renamed.dll (which is a way of backing it up)
- copy the AMTLibWrapper.dll from the serial fix folder into this directory and close
- run acrobat and it should work
- Close again and connect your internet cable
- run acrobat again
- open a file. Close the file -> message: the organizer database is damaged and will be reset the next time acrobat is launched.
Quit the app and close any currently opened web browsers
- run acrobat again. When closing the file again I get the same organizer database message, but otherwise the application runs.
Good luck.

cre8ive2 (2010-02-26)

And ps: I use Bitdefender Internet Security 10 for antivirus and firewall

happyguy88 (2010-11-23)

Hello,
I have failed to install it successfully on my third or fourth attempt. I am in need of some precious help. The following steps were performed:
1) Dowloaded the Torrent
2) In the .iso folder -- Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended -- Setup.exe
3) Then I used Notepad as an Administrator and went to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts
and added the following.
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 localhost
It got successfully saved.
4) After that I extracted the "Serrieennumer" and "replaced" the cracked AMTLibWrapper.DLL file in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\AMTLibWrapper.DLL
5) Thereafter, I made sure my "Windows Firewall" was blocking the "Adobe Updater".
Change Settings -- Exceptions -- No Check mark besides Adobe Updater
6) Double-clicked on the Adobe icon on Desktop
7) Next User Services Agreement.
8) Click "I agree".
9) Note: Adobe did not ask for a "Serial Number here". I had installed it as a "Trial Version".
10) Now when Adobe opened -- Clicked Edit -- Preferences -- General Options -- "Removed" check for updates.
11) Acrobat is closing once a file has opened.
PLEASE HELP.

chiefFox (2010-12-03)

I disconnected, but couldn't get the executable to install after inputting the full version serial. After reading comments I'm going to delete and give up on this torrent. Nice attempt, poor directions. Looks like nobody got it to work.
