I've got the same problem. Sucks because it took me over a week to get it downloaded and now it doesnt work.

Iso files are kind of like 'CD's
You download a program like "magicdisk"
and "mount" the ISO's.
It's like putting a CD into your computer,
if your computer had 5 CD drives.
But as far as I know, this isn't the torrent I was looking for.

Sims 2 is well made game, plays perfectly in windows xp and 7, although few people are seeding and it takes a little bit longer to download the torrent. RESPECT !!

TO EVERYONE HAVING PROBLEMS MOVING A FAMILY INTO A HOUSE:
I had the same deal, (The game would close on me every time I tried to play a family.)
But I put the "No-CD fix" file into my "Sims2 apartments life" TSbin as well as in my Ikea TSbin and when I clicked it it worked fine except I'm having some issues with the walls and far off background flashing black and red/purple and black.
I haven't tried the "No-CD fix" on anything else yet or figured out how to fix the messy graphics but I'll keep you updated as I mess around with mine a little more. Hope this helps a little at least. :)
