I have an AMD and an Intel computer and wanted to simplify the install. I have made it with max compatability in mind, but your mileage may vary. All original Languages are included. Unrar the Leo4All.ISO and burn with UltraISO or equivilant in Windows, or use Disk Utility in OSX. The MD5 Checksum of the ISO should be 9d5a50fc18efeb41636ce42801fd45f3 Please support Apple and buy a copy, you won't regret it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Install Notes ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The system is setup by default to boot in Verbose mode. You can change this yourself if you want in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist. I included BBEdit with the applications, it can edit the file in place with correct permissions. During the DVD bootup if your stuck at "waiting for root device" I am sorry your hardware is probably not supported. You can try changing some options in your BIOS, maybe you get lucky. If you get error com.apple.boot.plist not found your DVD is most likely bad, burn it again at a lower speed. If you have an AMD system please check the box for AMD-System-Fix to aplly the patches needed for Leopard to work!! AHCI works, but you are limited to two drives, turn this off if you have more than 2 drives you need to access. If you have an older computer with limited options in the BIOS(ACPI/APIC) and you are able to install but when you boot the freshly installed O/S you are stuck just after ACPI loads, try installing with the APIC-Fix checked. This will install an Older ACPIPlatform and APIC for better compatability. Video Driver support is very hit or miss, please install first without it. You can easily add this yourself afterwards. The EFI bootloader automatically detects and installs for MBR/GUID thanks to Dense, it may have specific problems for Bad-Axe 2 systems. Please select your IDE/SATA chipset during install.(One and only one!) Default selection for kernel is Netkas improved 9.2.0. If you select Vanilla kernel please uncheck Netkas kernel. If during the inital account creation your system locks up, try disabling your Network card. If you installed Video drivers during install(not recommended) and your system freezes before the desktop loads, boot with -s and remove the Video kexts. If after you boot to the desktop you get an error about an Extension not being properly installed open the Application I included called Extensions-Repair to correct this automatically.

Works a treat and no problems encountered using gigabyte ga-945gcm(x)-s2 motherboard and pentium e2160 dual core. nvidia 512mb graphics card also working without patching. Easy install and no messing about with g-parted to get it to boot from the hard disc. Well done and many thanks.

eddie11c I want to congratulate you for this 100% perfect working release!!! I was pulling my hair off with Zephyroth 10.5.2 rev.1 and rev2 for weeks. This distro is working as dual boot to my second hdd without a problem (unlike zephyroth's release) and acronis is detecting both 100%. I added audio drivers and video drivers later myself. But otherwise simply leo4all as stated. Thanks

Works great but where are the printer drivers? -- I plugged in a canon i850 that worked on Kalyway and vanilla Leopard but while it prints on Leo4All, I get terrible quality prints and most of the printer preferences are missing in the print dialog :(

Thank,s as i type this i am using it on a compaq presario v4000 widescreen laptop with a celeron M 1.40Ghz 512 ram. only my sound card don't work find my internal wireless broadcom card, when i burn it to dvd and read it in windows it read less than 500kb the 4+ gig is hidden...

For the commenter that says that only P4 3.0 and up, that is so *not true*. Because this is a *universal* release, it's open to more than just the faster Prescotts (and, of course, the Core and above Intel SSE processors), it also works pretty decently on the Northwood-B and C series (both P4 and Celeron) of 2.4 GHz and quicker (as well as the AMD equivalents). I used to run Leopard on my Northwood-C P4 2.6, so I'm not talking out of my hat.

Cradle4life, I would advise you to search google for supergrub. It is a tool for repairing broken grub loaders. I had a problem similer to yours and it fix it. But I only had Ubuntu and XP. I'm not sure about Leo and XP.

when i extract this iso from all the rars, the size of it is 4.37GB, but when i open or extract the files inside it, its only about 150KB total. also, the md5 does not match, i've tried forcing a re-check, but it won't, because i seem to have all the files. wtf?
