I literally CANNOT get a better source or higher quality unless I use a lossless codec or higher bit-rate. The source is Sats>Receiver>44.1KHz stereo wav>3.98.2 lame vbr with the highest quality settings, all digital, no analog stage. This makes me laugh, honestly.
I'd have to break into the studio with a surround microphone array and multi-channel 96KHz recording equipment and bootleg the show live for better quality and they'd still bitch.
I appreciate everyone who rips and distribute's O&A (you can thank nachoman for todays R&F) but the notion that it can be done any better than I'm doing with the 128's is quite funny. They're not up as quick as they could be, I'll give you that. But it takes time to encode in HQ mode and the logistics of everything are what they are. And the only reason I went to the stereo oar 64k rips again is because I can get them up quicker at this current time. I also don't seed from where I edit, which can add time to the up but ensures if the shit hits the fan I should be alright.
