the game installed fine. i just have a issue with the crack.everytime i try to copy it to the banaries folder it doen't ask if i want to replace it,it just copies it in there as a shortcut.
everytime i check the size of content it either says it's 537bytes or 937 bytes and i checked the crack properties and it's 5.37mb

if anyone having issues like slow downs.
try turning down the AA.keep it atleast x4 to prevent any slow down cause i notice anything above like 8x.it had a huge impact on the fps
(frams per second,not first person shooter if anyone was wondering)
and if you don't have a 8 series or above,turn off the physx support.it drmacticlly dcreases performance for no reason by having it on.same to go with anyone owning a ati card to turn physx off.i think the physx support being on won't dramaticlly make any difference in the gameplay anyways/notice a difference with most people.

on the mission where you meet kate (?) and the dead politician, you go in an elevator but the game returns to the main menu during a dialogue. then when you press continue, it starts where you jump off a sloping roof. YEAH, that really sucks, i also have the same problem... I've patched my graphics card (9600GT-SLI) , i installed the patch from -RELOADED- and pasted a new cracked .EXE file in the binairies.... After all nothing changed.

Ok, I solved it.
For those of you that have the problem where the game suddenly returns to main menu, as if you died, do the following;
1.uninstall mirror's edge and make a new install. Do not crack it.
2. Install the reloaded 1.01 patch, and use the crack provided with the patch.
3. Right-click the .exe-file in you install folder/binaries and browse to "Compability"
4. Choose "Run as Windows 2000"
5. Play the game.

For me (Using 32 Vista) it worked in a more simple way: Download 1.01 patch and crack, patch the game, apply the new crack, and zadam, you could continue play from the old saves. Just must remember to always run as administrator.

i downloaded the 5.85GIB rar version from isohunt anyways i have never had problems installing games before i have dled many games like crysis+expansion all 4 fear's and many more all ground breaking games with great graphics played them all on max with AA maxed out so my system is very capable once again i never had problems but this version of this game yes i hit some freaking snags ok so i mounted used keygen installed it updated it and used the new crack made sure it was succesfuly updated and even force rechecked after i dled it but when i try to run it , it shows her poping up in the middle of my screen like the games about to load and then it fails and says failed to open . now i have tried reinstalling it and many other things like windows 2000 compatibility mode , admin mode ,disable pysx GPU acceleration,i disabled visual themes SO i really don't know what to say anymore this game really baffled me i hope i find a solution i did not find a new sound driver for my motherboard though , could be the problem as i heard from some blog . I do have xp 64bit and it has ran on this before , maybe i just got a bad version of the game idk

How to get the game working ones you have installed it. First, get the patch for v1.01. Then get the crack for that same version. ones you have replaced the .exe file go to properties>compatibility>(check the box saying "run this program in compatibility mode for" For windows 7 - Vista setting or XP worked for me, others may have to experiment. Launch. Ones in the game disable PhysX in the video options. Fixes lags in first missions and the slow motion problem later on. Hope you get it working. Or buy the game. its pretty damn cheap now.

Alright I'll try again to get some help.
The problem: After the splash screen my screen turns black, and it says "Mirror's Edge has stopped working."
What I did:
1)Installed the game using Daemon Tools. (did not crack yet)
2) Installed the patch included in this torrent.
3) Copied the "MirrorsEdge.exe" file from the "patch\crack" folder and pasted into the Binaries directory where my game is installed.
4) Changed the compatibility mode to "Windows XP (Service pack 3)" (I have Windows 7 Home Premium, myself.)
5) Open the cracked .exe file. It then crashes.
What do I have to do to make this work? I tried installing it about 5 or 6 times now.

Well... Windows 7 users, do this:
- Search "TdEngine". (If you couldn't find, it is in 'C:\Users\User\Documents\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame').
- Open the file.
- Find ResX= and ResY=
- Change the numbers for your native resolution (of your screen)
- Save it, and close.
- PLAY THE GAME
(remember, use the update and crack realesed here, in this torrent)

And I think I've solved the problem with EA asking for a registration code, at least for now. Just copy the crack from the crack folder to the binaries folder again, replace. Start the game. It didn't ask me for a registration code now. Also, if it asks if you want to patch the game, I guess you just have to click no. Not sure though, my game hasn't asked it this time yet.

Guys I don't get it, none of you are being clear, I thought looking at comments before clicking on magnet:"I'll sort this out easy enough" but guess not. I also have lag syndrome when physics is turned on, at the least, I don't see such a graphical difference, but since I'm such a perfectionist, it bugs me that I can't turn it on. lag starts during escape out of crime scene. Am running windows 8 release preview (8400).
so let me sum it up. If I'm guessing right the ones running XP don't get the lag issue and those are the ones posting stuff like "works!". Then there are pple suggest running compatibility mode 2000 for xp users and XP SP2 for vista/7 users. But I donnot have that option, in win8 compatibility mode only offers SP3 and that one doesn't work. another thing ppl talk about: a "TDgame.ini" file somtimes placed dirrectly in the TDgame folder and sometimes in the Config sub-folder of that folder, I have neither (and this is double checked with winrar, but my windows does not lie to me) I do have an ini file (amongst many others) in the Config folder called DefaultCompat.ini containing what looks to be the content in question (at the very end there is resolution and in the middle there is gpushader1=3 ect...) is this the one? do I change the resolution to my screen or will it not even adress my problem?
were the files in question removed by the 101 update? (I doubt it)
I think the patch is unique and no download is better or worse except, of course for the ones with viruses.
the craked exe from the second link seems to be right I'm guessing it only solves activation bypass and if I had the wrong one I wouldn't even have played the game.
Any clues?

Read my 2 comments before yours... it's real, but you can only play the first 2 chapters before your character slows down and is unable to run. Thus making it unplayable from that point on.

Here's a complete guide on how to run Mirror's Edge using this torrent.
First step, install the torrent, as well as the update torrent which is available as the third link in the file description, or you can just click here:
Next, set up Daemon tools or PowerISO and mount the ISO located in the torrent to a drive. Go to my computer and run it. This should open the installer, and clicking "Play" should make it ask for a key.
Put this in:
H7NW-5ZBS-GATC-6GAH-DRLD
Follow the steps and it should start installing. Once that's done, go into the update torrent that you got, and extract any of the rar files located inside it with z7 or winrar. You will get a folder called rld-me11. Inside that, there are two folders, update and crack.
When the installation for Mirror's edge is complete, run the installer file in the folder called "Update" inside the second torrent. Once that's done, go into the other folder called "Crack" and copy the EXE file to "C:Program Files (x86 on a 64 bit)EA GamesBinaries" and replace the old one. Congrats! You're done!
If it crashes on the splash screen, follow one of the guides to fix screen resolution. Have fun!

Yeah i got it installed and was happily playing too. My question to you Zairuen is this, did you play past chapter 2? I'm guessing not. I'm yet to see anyone definitively say they made it past chapter 2. I know how to install it and make it work, but as i said your character slows to a walk when you get to the Rope Burn chapter and you can't continue playing. Speak up and prove me wrong if you've played past that.

Pretty good torrent. I don't see why everyone is having problems. Just mount with daemon and install. In the crack folder there's the keygen so that you can get the serial. After installing just copy paste the exe from the crack folder to the "whatever place you've installed the game"'s binaries folder, replace and double click it. and you can play.

On a side note, I came back here today cuz leaks are starting to surface that there's a next gen sequel. Sounds like I'll be purchasing it for Xbox One since my 2010 iMac can't even run Windows 8, I'm stuck with Windows 7, but I'll buy a new Xbox before I buy a new computer.

For the record my 2010 iMac will run Win 8, it's just that Apple only allows post 2010 Macs to install Boot Camp 5 which has the Win 8 drivers. So I installed Win 8 with no drivers and my mouse, keyboard, etc didn't work. Rolled back to Win 7 and I'm fine with that for now.
