Tip for people with SP3: If you haven't installed XPlite prior to installing SP3 You must change the following reg keys for xplite to install:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows]
"CSDVersion"=dword:00000300
CHANGE TO:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows]
"CSDVersion"=dword:00000200
NEXT Key to change:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion]"CSDVersion"="Service Pack 3"
Change to:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion]"CSDVersion"="Service Pack 2"
After you make the changes restart your system
Install Xplite
You can then change the reg keys back
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT click on the "more info" link in XPlite or it will recognize the serial as blacklisted and will automatically shutdown your system.
