Temple of Elemental Evil + Patches - ENGLISH

The very hard-to-find english version of this sweet 3.5 D&D game. Awesome game play, nice graphics, and good interface. I'll keep seeding it for a while, until there are a couple other seeds.

Hmm... I am having trouble with the installer. It runs fine until it asks for the second disk, i put it in using daemon tools, and then it says something about "corrupted data3 file, complie error" or such. This has happened 3 times and im not sure what to do to fix it. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah. I seeded for about three hours after it finished (I'm new to this whole torrent thing so I just found out what seeding means; I've been a leecher to so many other torrents ): ) but had to stop. Glad to help.

the crack is not in the dl folder, its in the cd iso. just open the cd folder after it is monted

I'm having a bit of a problem - Looting corpses in the game doesn't seem to work too well and only happens once in a while. I read that one of the patches is supposed to fix this, bu when I install the patch (from this torrent) I can't start the game because it keeps asking me to put in the right CD. And when I put back the crack that's on CD 2 it doesn't allow me to loot corpses. So how the fuck do I fix this?

(At least for Win 7, and prob Win 8) Download this. Use a virtual drive software like daemon tools or whatever to mount the files. Then install patch 2. Then 3. Then google most recent "Circle of 8" modpack, which is very clean all around and fixes all of the problems of this game, as it was released broken. Not worth it AT ALL without it, honestly. Then install it inside the game directory or make sure all the files get inside there once you run the "front end x". Make sure that toee.exe and the front-end-x exe (the app used to run the game once mod has been installed) are set in their properties to "run as administrator) then run the front-end-x exe. It will need to install when it first runs. Let it. Then you should select on screen to activate the mod. Then play.
Any errors you have then try and google them. I know this sounds like a lot but installs of this can be tricky, a lot of misteps. Its worth it.
Just understand this is by know means an action-rpg, at all. It is very much a tactical-rpg. Very slow, in depth. It will be hard if you dont plan your stuff right, and you have to do a lot of micro-management, and you can never just rush into battle and start attacking, even little gobilns when your low level, it is made to be tough and realistic, like if a goblin does stab you a few times.. you will die. Actually 0 hp makes you uncouncious. You have to get to -10 to be dead. Most faithful iteration of a dnd ruleset (3.5E) incorporated into a computer game. This game is cool, hardcore rpg fans will love the fixed version, and it does help to be a dnd fan. You cant trust the reviews, it was released broken, but the problems have been fixed, and not by a slew a various mods, just one clean package. That doesnt make it perfect. It is set in the classic Greyhawk setting so was kinda paying homage to that classic DnD setting which was cool, very classic and old-school and appreciated, but commercially it would have been wiser to place it within the more familiar and marketable Forgotten Realms setting, the Greyhawk scenario might have felt a little clunky to your modern gamer overfed on overdone over-dramatic epic battles. Maybe have done the Temple campaign as an expansion for the fans. This company Troika also released the well liked cult classic games Vampire:Bloodlines, And Arcanum. There is a very immersive sandbox quality to their games that makes them stand out. Worth a try if you like that stuff.
