Hey RiddlerA, In the process of downloading all series of The Wire. Great series and thanks for the upload. I do have a problem, the first season the files where perfect. In the second season some episodes the video was split in four, lenght ways, with each layer shifting a few cm's to the right... Season three, same problem on more episodes... I'm using VLC, that should work right? Don't know how to fix this... Any suggestions? Thanks!

To convert MKV to a DVD file, use FreeMake Video converter. It seems to handle everything

You know why this torrent -- and the other Riddler "The Wire" torrents -- stink? Not because of the file size or the video/audio qualites. Those are all fine. Not because of the lack of extras. (Who cares?)
They all stink because they all have the WRONG ASPECT RATIO. These eps are processed, believe it or not, with an AR of 1.49 not the correct AR of 1.33.
In other words, TOO WIDE.
Here's one more word: AVOID
