Description:

" MMM...COOKIES - Sweet Hamster Like Jewels from America! is the eighth Fan Club Album[1] released by Linkin Park to the fan club members of the Linkin Park Underground. The eighth edition of the fan club was release on November 29, 2008 in the United States. Track Listing 1. "You Ain't Gosta Gosta"[2] 2. "Bubbles" 3. "No Laundry" 4. "Da Bloos" 5. "PB N' Jellyfish" 6. "26 Lettaz In Da Alphabet" ..." says wikipedia lplive.net claims this cd to be legit quote from http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=573 "I picked this up at Best Buy in Pittsburgh PA.. Just a few minutes ago." They also included some thoughts on "album" from Mike. When i heard first 5 seconds of the album, it was the "Suck me sideways" moment. Since Mike made no official comment, he was "quoted" only, and by the people who leeched the thing, and because the "album" sucks, and because i don't want to believe thay'd play with lp fans in this way, i think this is only a joke initiated by Mike, and that real LPU8 is coming around 5th or 6th december as usual. If anyhow this release ends up to be a legit one, Linkin Park will disappoint it's fans once again.

In previous years, we've released LPU CDs that contain b-sides, live tracks, and lesser-known songs from the band. This year, we have decided to do something totally unprecedented and unexpected. The LPU8 CD contains six totally new, original studio songs that Chester and I recorded in our free time in the past couple of years. But these aren't normal Linkin Park songs. Working on a song for an album is sometimes a lot of work, and occasionally we need some time to unwind. When Chester and I unwind, sometimes we make another kind of lighter, fun song. We call these songs "cookies." I think came from the idea that you get your dessert (your cookies) after you eat all the rest of your meal. The songs on the LPU8 CD are random, silly, and they fall into a variety of styles, from a James-Brown-Meets-Bobby-McFerrin track called "You Ain't Gotsta Gotsta" to a mock electro-club-banger called "26 Lettaz In Da Alphabet."
