We all know the story, or at least we should by now, this vinyl was released a week before the release date for the compact disc. & for a record older then 10 years, it still is in amazing condition. This sounds great. The guitars really sound alot better than the CD version. The drums have more atmospheric sound to them more natural sounding. Overall an upgrade to the CD version i would say. Can't wait to fully hook up my surround system to get the Woofer working for this album cause its gonna hit hard on these songs. Anyways thanks for this. DO you have Undertow on vinyl? The CD version just sounds somewhat flat.

I expected a lot from this but received very little. This is really awful and inferior in every way to the CD version.
1) There are crackles and pops throughout the recordings.
2) The sound is unbalanced and muffled.
3) Compared to the CD, the normally awe-inspiring instruments are unpronounced and are just unimpressive.
I don't understand what would possess anyone to listen to this recording. I'd prefer listening to a 128kbps Mp3 CD rip.
I hope someone makes a FLAC out of a CD soon.
