This is the first CD you will need to update whatever version of IRIX 6.5 to 6.5.29. There are three CD images: IRIX.6.5.29-Overlays.1of3.iso IRIX.6.5.29-Overlays.2of3.iso IRIX.6.5.29-Overlays.3of3.iso You will need all of these to do an upgrade. If you want to do a fresh install you will also need the two Foundation CD's for IRIX 6.5. Along with this set of CD's you can optionally (recommended) get: Applications.Feb.2006.iso Complementary.Applications.Feb.2006.iso

Thx a lot for posting. Will you be posting the Foundation cd's for IRIX 6.5?
I got an old SGI Indigo lying around, do you think these cd's will work with that one? Im pretty sure was running Irix 6.5-something but its eyars since i booted her up.

The Foundation CD's should be on here via someone else, 'cuz that's how I got them. I had to actually buy the Overlays, though.


Those should be it, if not, let me know and I can image my CD's and put them up.

You should be fine with the Indigo. The data sheet for IRIX 6.5 from SGI says it's supported... I know it runs on my Fuel just fine, but that's significantly newer since it was then end of MIPS for SGI along with the Tezro.

Can someone seed the entire IRIX package for a clean install? the foundation cd's i can't find anywhere.
