umm...if your going to convert my FLAC torrent into mp3 why do 64 kbps? And whats the point of such lousy quality? I understand its a "preview" but I would appreciate mp3 @ 320.

The main purpose is to minimize traffic. Original FLAC torrent works very slow because there's too many PEERs and a sparse number of SEEDers, so that would help to relieve it a bit.

I understand the idea of minimizing traffic. But 64 kbps in mono?
Please, do everyone a favor and convert it to mp3 @ 320 in stereo (or at the very least 192 kbps). At least at that bitrate its listenable and still a much much smaller file size than the 30 Gb FLAC torrent.
