You know what?. Maybe 30 years from now Metallica is gone and we would all look at how great they were. And you will appreciate the progress of the band throughout the decades. They grow up, and wrote songs along the way. They don't do shit the same again and again. I'm lucky enough to live while Metallica is still kicking ass and doing hundreds of concerts.
Most people just can't live in the PRESENT. When you're old you will look back at this decade or maybe in the 90s and say how great they were. God most of you who talk shit like "oh they're not as good as they were in the 80s, they suck now" are just a bunch of teenage morons thinking it would be cool to say like that. Metallica is not even our own generation of metal, they were formed in the 80s. Their earliest of fans are in their late 30s or early 40s now.
I still have to dig more metal bands that are form in this decade.
