Plot Outline:
Security Guard David Dunn miraculously survives a catastrophic train crash outside Philadelphia. Not only is he the sole survivor out of 132 passengers, he also is completely unharmed. A little later, comic book specialist Elijah Price contacts him to confront David with an incredible theory: Elijah, who has been nicknamed "Mr. Glass" due to his more than fragile bones, thinks that David has got all which he himself lacks. The two of them "seem to be linked by a curve, but sitting on opposite ends". First, David does not believe the strange man, but every single thing he had said proves to be true: David has never ever been hurt or sick in his life, his physical strength is larger than normal and he has a skill which others don't. Slowly, David begins to discover the shocking truth behind Mr. Price's assumptions. But after all, David's fate is not only to find his real place in the world. It also is about proving Elijah's theory of his own existence.

For people that have managed to afford to upgrade their way out of Windows/PCs and have their Apples, I have a Mac Pro 3.2Ghz 8-core with 8GB ram and these 20GB+- 1080p files will play and scrub seamlessly on something like this...but it will JUST BARELY get by on my 2.4GHz Macbook Pro with 4GB RAM and a 7200RPM 200GB HDD w/ nvidia card. I'd say 2.4GHz dual core with 4GB RAM and DEFINITELY a 7200RPM lappy hdd is minimum to not stutter all the time. You can GREATLY speed up playback and perhaps play it on a slightly slower computer by opening it with Perian in Quicktime and "SAVE AS" as regular MOV file container. (or just spending the 5-10hrs downconverting it to 720p 5Mbps, which will look very nearly as good if you have some experience with H.264 and get all the proper settings...forget more than 3-4 B-frames and never use Trellis!!!) :-DTHANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS UPLOAD!!! I'll seed to 4:1 as usual.

Bahh I got this movie stopping on me after 20 seconds. Anyone else with problems? I have played all other HD movies before....NeverEnuf80 (2008-05-18)
played fine all the way through---latest quicktime with perian installed...it's worth it to buy though.once i saw what this looked like, even at only 7Mbps, i just got the bluray...definitely worth it because the DVD looked like garbage. it's a dark movie and the limited color and bitrate of the dvd made it an mpeg artifact farm
just skip the download and go straight to Best Buy or eBay
pretty cool movie and finally a lossless version of it in all of it's gloomy glory :-D
to the guy that has it stopping after 20min....have you tried playing it off of another harddrive, or off of a usb flash/keyfob thing? maybe it's a bad sector on that drive? this file downloaded intact for me
or...if you have a bluray recorder, try recording it and playing it on a ps3 or bluray machine...i know bluray recorders/media are still ridiculously pricey, but i figured it was worth asking...some people here like to be on the bleeding edge of computer technology and would already have a drive and Toast 9 with the bluray updates :-/ (or final cut/dvd studio/whatever you find easiest to use)
:-/ there's also a 720p version out there...unless you have a really new TV, there's really little point to having 1080p...especially at this bitrate (i think at 7mbps, 720p might even look better...i don't know)

I'm Sorry but I'll have to calm everyone's enthousiasm. I Love Bluray movies, but SiluHD, we're stuck at 99.2% since weeks, please do something !Otherwise, thanks for the upload :D
