Strohbie (2008-05-05)

Reznor is a stud. I was expecting to buy an EP, not get a free full-length album! Thanks for the great birthday present!

agentshags (2008-05-05)

Thank You Trent and Co.!

Robopirate85 (2008-05-05)

What a surprising move by Trent Reznor. I had trouble believing that Ghosts I-IV was only 5$, and now he releases an album for free!?
I can't think of any other artist that has made me so happy.
Rock on, Trent.

First it didn't work to download from their website, so I tried here, and it went way too slow. Tried on their website again and downloaded the whole album in 20 seconds.
Great album, like the most of their work.

You Rock NIN

franzrebs3 (2008-05-16)

This is what music should be about, not for the money.

jungleboogie (2008-05-24)

Tell that to the starving musicians who can't afford a new set of strings or drumsticks.

crash401 (2008-05-30)

How about we tell then to get off their asses and get a job like the rest of the world... Maybe then they'd create something the rest of us could relate to.

Arrrggghhh101 (2008-06-02)

Downloading now. Will seed for a long time.
This release gave me the slip. I didn't even know about it until today.
Thank god for piratebay!!!

NiN forever!

greymann (2008-12-10)

Huge NIN fan but I don't care so much for this one. The free part's cool but... their music was once compared to a beautiful butterfly having its wings tore out. Well this one is more like a cockroach being squashed. Tracks don't have that catchy quality they're known for and it's too high on the noise. Oh well. What a great one of a kind band. I think they've just been putting out too much material lately. I wish they take their time and produce better.

palhaitus (2009-03-01)

i agree with graymann! take another 6 years to release an album! /sarcasm
i agree that the style has changed a bit, but i dont think its due to not taking long enough to work on it. i think its just the direction trent's going. his work was always heavily based in his emotions, and as such very succeptible to change. he's still a musical genius, and his stuff is still amazing, its just (somewhat) different. if ya dont like it as much, at least you still have his older stuff to listen to, and who knows, he may crash again.
as for the free bit, i hope he continues the trend he started with YZ (discreet releases in coordination with the viral campaign), and continued when he left interscope for null corp.

I'm in jail, but it's great
