You should buy this game anyways, probably the ONLY Strategy game out there that is superior to the Total War series is the almighty Civilization series. So your getting your moneys worth if you buy this. If you can't wait patiently for the game to be cracked and what not, then you shouldn't be pirating things.

About buying this, I highly reccomend that you do NOT. CA completely ignores their fans and for some reason they're trying to destroy the modding community.
Along with that, if you bought that utter failure called Empire Total War, which was most likely a priced beta for this one, you are entitled to a full playable game, therefor download Napoleon dont buy it =D

Hey idiots, it all depends on the level of security a game has and how early the game was leaked. My guess is Crysis was leaked a long time ago. THIS only came up about 3 days ago. HARDLY any time to crack. Stop asking for a crack and saying it is taking too long if you don't understand the game has only been up for 3 days and depending on the security for the game could take weeks to crack.

@mass111, unfortunatly the crack is to be copied over the existing exe AFTER the games has been installed. The problem I'm facing is that when I install it Steam asks me to activate with a CD key, if I don't do that the installation stops, and nothing is installed. That's why Razors installer.exe may help.

*Update* Looks like I got somewhere, although I have no idea if it's in the right direction. I'm unpacking/extracting DVD1 with Phoenix to the default path that Phoenix gave to me. Which is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Phoenix\data". Is that what's meant to happen?

When I try to unpack this with Phoenix, it unpacks pretty much everything but then I get a box with the error 'SCRIPT: Can't find file 'GcfFiles.Dat.' and also the various language-related .dats. When I go and apply the Razor crack, it crashes at the loading screen. Any ideas?

Weird, after having it crash over and over now it works. How? When I loaded it up, I minimized the window and let it sit like that for about a minute. When I maximized the window again, instead of the game crashing, it ran fine.

Okay. I have tried the Phoenix method a thousand times.
This sucks, really.
I have 1.2 Final Phoenix version
I already updated CDR over instructions and Via Internet.
But the moment I click Scan a SIM-File, the description *"Apps" section not found in "s" Wrong disk?* always comes out.
I have already extracted both disks, multiple times. And tried multiple times. I need help.

So, i start Sid unpacker, scan a sim file, select sid from DVD1, so i select:
Napoleon Total War exe.gcf
Napoleon Total War data....gcf
Napoleon Total War redist....gcf
Napoleon Total War English.gcf ?
and click unpack?
Then it asks multiple times sid2. And then i get 3 errors orsmth. I go to unpack folder and paste razor crack. There are no Napoleon.exe in unpacked folder before.
I know my english sucks, but i just tryed to help:D

I did everything that the instructions said for pheonix. I put Razor's crack inthe folder i extracted to. When i run the .exe it goes to the copyright screen and doesnt respond. I dont get what im doing wrong. I extracted again and tried it and still not working. Any suggestions?

I first unpacked Dvd 1 into a new folder then Dvd 2 in to a new folder. Then I ran Phoenix on the simfile in Dvd 1 in to another new folder. I got a smaller error while doing it but I continued anyway, then it asked for disk3_0 and 2_3 which I don't have.
I skipped these then and then I copied the things in the crackfolder in to where I had unpacked the files from Dvd 1 by phoenix. Then it asked for steam_api.dll I copied the ETW one which I already had in to the NTW folder then it asked for another dll which I also copied in to the NTW folder, then I got an error that something inside the .dll file was wrong... Crap, anyone got a clue what I'm doing wrong? Been trying for ages.

der is no dics 3 guys try do scan sim again it should be like 24gigz unpacked if it ain't something went wrong it should be unpacked with no error is there one remember the filename and unpack only this file into another folder on desk and after extraction copy the files over the game dir it should work fine works for the steam_api.dll (102kb) too. If the game is available in your country just by it and have it stressless CA deservs it -.-

when the unpacking is finished it doesnt show anything but a map named data and i cant find an .exe file in it so i cant crack anything..

you install it there will be TWO Napoleon TW folders if you didn't change any default names while installing one will be Razor>Napoleon Total War which will have like one file in it. disregard that and refresh your "Program Files" and look for Napoleon Total War(i refreshed the name order in the file & the file itself). that Napoleon Total war should have a couple of .dll files in it and a few folders, go to Disc 1 and find the Razor folder that has "Data and a .exe file" copy paste that and put it in the Napoleon Total War and you should be able to play it.
if these did not help you then either you're beyond retarded or the game is just not made for your system.
Note: for those who have the steam issue. i did not even encounter steam so i do not know what you're talking about, i already have steam and i did NOT use "setup" to install Napoleon via steam.

It takes 5 hours to bloody install this game, and sometimes the installer doesn\'t work at all. so, it did take a few tries, but using your (simple)Phoenix experiment and clear as a bell instructions the game is now in a moveable (19GB)folder tada
