Wiki2touch Oct08 Wikipedia Dump for iPhones

This torrent contains the English October 2008 articles.bin file to be used in conjunction with Wiki2touch (http://code.google.com/p/wiki2touch/). This basically allows you to carry full text copy of Wikipedia on your jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch. Normally you need to spend a lot of time downloading and converting the dump files, so I thought I'll share my updated files on my blog http://wikidump.blogspot.com/ Usage: - Jailbreak your iPhone or iPod Touch - Install wikisrvd, OpenSSH and Bossprefs using Cydia - Use SFTP (using media:alpine username:password) to copy articles.bin to Media/Wikipedia/en folder) - Turn on Wiki2Touch in Bossprefs Enjoy the sum of human knowledge on the go!
