Window-Eyes gives total control over what you hear and how you hear it. Plus, with its enhanced Braille support that control is extended to what you feel as well. On top of all that, the power and stability of Window-Eyes means that most applications work right out of the box with no need for endless tinkering in order to get them to function properly.
Window-Eyes is your key to opening the doors of a world with unlimited information. A world where work takes precedence over technical hassles. Window-Eyes is a leading software application for the blind and visually impaired, which converts components of the Windows operating system into synthesized speech allowing for complete and total access to Windows based computer systems. Window-Eyes integration into Windows is seamless, providing you with instant access to the operating system without having to learn a complicated set of keystrokes.
Applications that utilize standard Microsoft controls will be spoken automatically with little to no configuration necessary. Other applications may require simple modifications to Window-Eyes whose options are easily accessible via a well organized, speech control panel.
The Window-Eyes User's Guide (available in a multitude of formats -- see below) provides detailed instructions and examples for beginning configuration options such as voice parameters and verbosity, as well as advanced instruction for tasks such as setting up user and hyperactive windows, and creating customized settings for individual applications.
GW Micro is committed to the user. Our partnerships with mainstream companies such as Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia, and PeopleSoft allows us to make Window-Eyes one of the primary tools for testing product accessibility. We work hard to make sure that Window-Eyes provides you with the best access possible for the most popular applications.
You expect a lot from Window-Eyes. And you should. We're raising those expectations further with Window-Eyes, designed to harness the power of Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, and Windows Vista. hello ultraleetj!
i'm very glad with it! but now the question, window-eyes needs the file wevideo.exe wich is not included in the zip. what is the reason?
i have a version of wevideo 5.5 can i use this one or do you have allso the wevideo.exe for me?
thanks and regards
sneertje

madman08 (2008-07-14)

hi there the wevideo can be downloaded from gwmicro.com's website. but if you are using windows vista it wont work and 5.5 i think it wont work.

ZimPirate (2008-08-21)

Great! I was ever curious how Window-Eyes works and wondered who could stand to Freedom Scientific's Jaws, but now I see the reason why. This is a cake, let's all share it!

ZimPirate (2008-08-30)

Hi UltraleetJ and buddies,
Is anybody having the same problem I am having with Window-Eyes? When I want to use it with Firefox, Firefox crashes and tells me about the Mozilla Crash Reporter. This happens all the time, how do you get around this? Well this makes me hang on to Jaws as it seems not to have any problem with any application. Yeah I know it's not about technical support, but I seem to have this sort of problem all the time. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks folks.
From the FlyCat!

UltraLeetJ we are two now, lol.
BTW, do you think that jaws 10 and Windows Eyes 7 will be cracked soon? Ya, i know, they are beta but...
Do you have some audiogames like GMA Tank Commander, or Sarah Castle.

genious90 (2008-09-05)

Thanks so much for the software. Does anyone have the version that will work in Vista? Window eyes 6.1?

pitermach (2008-09-14)

hi,
my name is peter, i'm yet another blind person joined recently to do some comments and upload something probably,
and I really would appreciate if someone could, if it was cracked, upload wineyes 6.1. i'm running vista, and wineyes 6.0 does not work with it, And ultra lead, I was forced to upgrade and I feel better on vista really.
i'm not going to say bad things though, everyone has it's own opinion on something.
e.g, I say Orpheus is hard to understand, while someone says that he or she likes it.
I was also wondering if there's any place or a torrent from where I could get KurzWeil1000, and another sofware called MarvelSoft Talking toolbox.
and I'll probably soon upload some audio games.

pitermach (2008-10-01)

today, window-eyes 7.0 has entered final stages that is, it's now a full version, not a beta.

blazer32 (2009-01-29)
