This is a good beginning for my search of really good classics.
I could use some tips in my search. Does anyone know what key word searches, or names of collections. I really want to find any good uplifting old music. That optimistic sound pre-mid-sixties but not quirky doo-wop stuff. I am looking for real class that my grandmother could appreciate, but I am not very familiar with names of old artists. And if I do search for an old artist then I get selections of just them. I am looking a collection of many different artists. The older the better. Heard some big band stuff from the late 30's ages ago that really blew me away. But I cannot remember the name of the Bandleader. I know of a few of the biggest names, such as Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby etc.... but I really want to find some secret treasures. thanks for any tips.
