I'm torrenting these in an attempt to set the record straight about their origin. These have been available online for several years and are currently part of a large "discography" torrents, without any word of where they came from. While torrenting a "complete" collection for beginner fans is a noble idea, adding things without citing their origins (or creators) does everyone a disservice. Both for the newer fans who will be wondering what they are, and possibly assuming they're official, as well as the older fans who will fielding the questions about the tracks for years to come. These originated from the 10th anniversary 5.1 surround release of The Downward Spiral. http://tds.nin.com Someone separated the channels and created these partial mixes (from the center and rear channels without the main front music most likely) Why they called them "outtakes", we'll never know. At best, they're remixes.
