I burned it with Nero and put all the files in the video_ts. The result was really bad! I get picture and sound but its not in sync and its lagging frequently.. =(

Did not work for me. I toasted it to a disk and the result was a VERY choppy video with absolutely no sound. Too bad. I was looking forward to watching and listening to it.

This demo DVD is not ripped correctly!
On track 2-16 on the DVD the video is very clippy (bad compression?), and the sound is out of sync quite often. The Video is also changing between 16:9 and other formats from track to track.
Track 17-29 is OK
I hope "DTS Demo Sampler Vol 2" is better (I am downloading that now) because this was not very good.

Tracks 18-29 is fine but none of the movie clips work.

It's not a problem in wrong burning, but in DVD players itself. On my player and on 3 of my friend's players this disc is working perfect. On my dad's player, however the disc is sometimes skiping and A/V is on some tracks out of sync. Don't know why. Not all players can handle this disc properly, I know. But on PC it should work perfect (as long as you have DTS cabaple configuration)
But it sounds terrific, especially music clips (Phil Collins is awesome)

Strange.. Well I have a dvd-player from the stoneage but I'll payed for it thou.. and this is the first one that's not work for me yet. I have digital optical to the dts-reciever (hk 230) so I don't know whats wrong..
What's also strange is that I'm not alone, so if you have a solution, please tell us! =)

I've rip it with DVD decrypter, so this is not an issue.
Strange thing is that I've noticed the skipping only on players with Zoran-Vaddis chipset (LG & Harman Kardon DVD players). Like I said, on my Pioneer and friends Yamaha (Mediatek chipset) there is absolutelly no problem from start to finnish. So I made a little investigation and I think that the problem is in open GOP's. I won't bore you with what this is, but I've fixed GOP's with MPEG Video Wizzard DVD software and in following days I'll test this new fixed DVD on LG player.
Hope it will play without skipping.
@Majorice : Are other DTS discs playing OK in your system?? Are Digital Audio Output settings in your DVD all set to Bitstream or RAW???
What manufacturer and model of DVD you have??

He logrado percibir mi sistema de teatro de casa en su máxima expresión de audio digital, tengo muy pocas peliculas con audio DTS y notablemente hay diferencia en relación a el Dolby Digital. If anyone's still wondering how to burn this to a working DVD i made it work with a free program called "ImgBurn" by following this guide:
First i tried with Nero but that was no good. But this program does the trick! Just remember to create an empty AUDIO_TS-folder and it doesn't matter if you forget to delete the .bmp-picture of the disc.
There! I guess that was the questions that no one else wanted to answer... :)

I think you need to use a more advanced DVD decripter..see this page.

Could you try with the original DVD? Check the protection used, try AnyDVD or DVDFab, please.

Did someone make this work in PS3 ? PS3 isn't compatible with PAL, I converted the files to NTSC but it still doesn't work, the screen stays dark grey and nothing shows up. No error msgs as well. Please help me.
