Description:

So, oldies seem to be a favorite here. This show is an audience recording from the Caution Horses tour. The performance is interesting. "Coast of Peru" haunts me every time I hear it. Margo's voice is one of the most exquisite in music, and this little intro really showcases it. "Five Room Love Story" started to appear, as well as the story of Joseph and Lillian's love. Additionally, several tracks from what would become "Black Eyed Man" were being tested on audiences. Listen to the very interesting "If You Were the Woman and I Was the Man" at the start of CD2. It's an interesting arrangement. The true showstopper is the extended "Shining Moon." The band plays with fascinating dynamic shifts, dropping the music to a whisper midway through, then building a jam that ends in a rousing crescendo and turns into a quiet ending. This is perhaps THE best performance of "Shining Moon" I've heard. There are some technical glitches on the recording. At the end of several tracks, the tape momentarily stopped, so there are some abrupt transitions back into the songs. None of the actual music is missing, save the last song, which on the recording I have lasts for about 45 seconds. As such, I decided to cut it out. Better no "Blue Moon" than a tease, I felt. The filler is a radio/soundboard from Mountain Stage in 1994. There are several good songs on it. I think this is out there already, but it was on the DAT so I thought, why not? I've especially been listening to as many performances of "Lungs" as I can find lately, and the one here is fabulous.

The comments above were taken from the website. The comments below are mine.
You can decode the Lossless audio FLAC files into WAV files with
your favorite decoder ( see
http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html
) then write them to a CD with no gaps
between the tracks (i.e. Disk At Once) for a complete "Live"
show.
When you finish downloading this Torrent you can decode the FLAC files into a different folder to make the CDs. That way you can continue to seed the show for awhile.
I'm at the end of a long, very slow pipe and I stupidly put up all 25 shows at the same time. So when one show completes I pause it so the others will speed up. I didn't expect that there would be so many people who hadn't gotten the shows from http://www.4thellamas.com/index.htm .
This was an experiment for people who were on dial-up and couldn't download easily from the site. I do leave the second machine in the other room seeding all the shows, but it isn't as fast as this one. I'll keep seeding, but help with that from the faster machines out there is appreciated.
Thanks.
These shows are out here because the band gave permission.
