Ranarim - MorgonstjÃrna

Ranarim is back with its eagerly awaited third album-Morgonstjärna (Morning Star) With beautiful folk songs, a mix of traditional and newly composed Swedish folk music, Ranarim creates its own unique sound with vocals, keyed fiddle, guitar, doublebass and percussion. This fall brings release concerts to Sweden, Germany and Denmark, as well as a tour in Japan. During 2007, the group will go on tour in Argentina, Belgium/Holland and Scotland. Ranarim has blossomed into an accomplished live band, a hit at festivals and folk music clubs around the world. Their energetic stage performances include both tender and powerful music and a tight sound that sweeps the audience off its feet. Morgonstjärna has been nominated to the Swedish Grammy Award for best folkmusic group 2006.
