Copy Startup.exe to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\Binaries\ 4. Launch the game from desktop 5. Done NOTE : If you already replaced the startup.exe in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\Binaries\ with other startup.exe that is not working, then copy and replace the original startup.exe from DVD to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears Of War\Binaries\ before installing the update.

You guys.... its a 6.8MB torrent, startup.exe is the cracked binary and the other executable is a patch I'm assuming. I found it on another site and haven't tried it yet, I'm backing up my installation first in case it fucks it up.
I'm hopeful, changing the date to jun 2008 is annoying since it incapacitates google, gmail, youtube and other sites when I type their url and his tab to search without loading the actual site (TPB seems to be the exception but the only other one I've tried is bing as I refuse to use IE.

Um, guys, look at the filesize, GearsPC_Tu3_Microsoft isn't meant to be a full game installer, and you also have to copy startup.exe to /gears of war/binaries, and if the GearsPC_Tu3_Microsoft doesn't fix the fact that all GOW product licenses, even legit paid ones all expired January 28 2009 (which is why the date/year workaround exists, but it fucks up any sites affiliated with google until changed back, so alt tabbing out to look something up means you need to use a different search engine)
