Great scenes and music from the festive opera; convincing portrait of the diva's strong personality. With Jeremy Irons as her gay manager. 'I would rank this among the very best films about opera ever made.' (Comment on Imdb) This is not my rip; I found it at another site, but thought it should be shared here. Language is mostly English. Some very short and less significant sequences in Spanish and Italian have French subtitles. DVDrip XviD, AC3 Widescreen 720x384, great picture quality and stereo sound. Burn tested, runs well in both my standalone DivX players. Note that the ripper has used BVOP (Packed Bitstream), which is not always tolerated by older standalone players. Run the file through Dr. DivX or ConvertXtoDVD if you have to.
