This particular Documentary has two Audio Tracks: 1. The Original Documentary 2. The Commentary.
So yes you can disable the commentary if your Media Player gives you the option to choose which Audio Track to use.
If you are not sure:
VLC Media Player (freeware) allows you to do this. You can download it here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/.
Directions: After you have loaded/opened Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse in VLC Media Player > Click 'Audio' Tab > Click 'Audio Track' > Select 'Track 1'.
