This book is in traditional Chinese. This book was written between 1986 to 1996 by collecting and interviewing 100 people for their experience of the Chinese Cultural revolution during which over 36 million died. The first paragraph of the forward roughly translated as: 20th century experienced two human disasters - crimes during the Nazi in the Second World War and cultural revolution in China. Anyone who had experience these events want to forget about it, but cannot. Novelists and historians will no doubt record the events in different ways - historians on facts and novelists on feelings and emotions. This book attempts to record the historical facts from the view point of 100 common Chinese people who have survived the cultural revolution miseries to review to the world the horror of the disaster.

The author is an idiot, the Soviets lost more people under Stalin all of those that died in in the "Cultural Revolution" of China and Nazi Germany! And only TWO "human disasters" in the 20th century? Dropping nuclear weapons on civilians in Japan, keeping millions of Native Palestinians in Concentration Camps by Israeli jews for over 60 years, invading and destroying nearly every country in Central America, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos... This guy is an a-hole.
