go to the folder where the game is installed (something like C:/Program Files/Lucasarts/Star Wars Empire at War/) Then take the files from the crack folder and replace the original files with the crack files. Reboot and enjoy :) AND PLEASE SEED!!!!

Seeding is when you finish downloading a torrent and you keep the torrent window open (for BitTornado anyway) so other folks can download the same torrent.
I was just checking this out, because on my laptop (which is Vista and has 4 Gigs of RAM), IT WON'T WORK. Keeps giving me crap about some exception error. So that might be what Xerox was talking about. I tried compatibility stuff too, and it won't work. That's not the torrent either, it's a purchased disk that works on my Windows XP desktop.

I remembered back to how Star Wars Battlefront II crashes now and then for some people.
If you're a dual/quad-core user.
1) Minimize the game.
2) Open task manager.
3) Go to processes and right click on sweaw.exe
4) Go to "set affinity" and uncheck one or more of the cores leaving only one checked.
Worked for me, don't know whether it will for anyone else.

Ok so i try to replace the files and then i can't, all it says is that the CDrom does not have enough space, oh and the text is in swedish, this is what it says
Mount with daemon tools
2nd please enter cd-key by using key-gen (if there is CD-KEY skip this step)
3rd copy the content from CRACK folder
4th Paste in the installation folder
5th Answer YES
6th PLAIN

Try this:

I'm running win7 ultmate x64 and it didn't work at all for me. Added patch 1.5 (official), applied crack and then ran the unofficial patch. Now it works like a charm
