Tetsuno: it was made in 1982, what do you expect? enhancing and all that stuff isnt gonna do alot is it especally if was originally on a vhs.. but then being remastered, the quality will be improved but then the film was still made with cameras in 1982 so how much more could it be improved unless they remade the whole film using cameras the film makers use 20 odd years on?

I am also getting those annoying lines. I'm using VLC. The video won't even play at all on winamp and stupid media player asks me to fill out some kind of registration form so I refuse to even try that garbage. Stupid Microsoft.
The .nfo says it's Xvid "ViDEO......[ 773 kbps XviD 25.000 FPS"
I installed the newest Xvid codec and I still have the problem. I'm going to restart the comp now to see if that helps.

Alright I restarted and I still have that problem with the lines. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I still have it. The video still won't play at all in winamp. Most videos I play in VLC work perfectly. I'm guessing it's some conflict between codecs...

Since there were so many versions of this movie released, and yes, several said "Director's Cut", It IS reasonable to expect some sort of description of the torrent

This was my first time watching this movie. Outstanding quality of video and audio. I was a bit upset with the story, though. I was reading Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?" -- which this movie was based after/inspired by.
They change so much, yet keep so much the same. It was very confusing. The six Nexus-6 androids turn into five of them for Rick Deckard to get. Polokov is Leon in the movie. Luba Luft is an opera singer in the book, very sophisticated -- in the movie, it's Zhora and she's a prostitute that deals in sexual acts with a snake. Irmgard, Roy's android wife, isn't in the movie at all. Pris Stratton, in the stead of Irmgard, is Roy's lover. The Rosen Association is the Tyrell Association. Rachel and Pris are supposed to have the body of a child and the face of an adult. In the movie, they don't even look much alike -- and their body is in adulthood while their face resembles that of a solemn child.
No mention of the World War Terminus, or the dust, or specials. J.R. Isodore turns into J.F. Sebastian, and has a very small role in the film for some reason. No mention of Wilbur Mercer, or Mercerism for that matter.
It doesn't make sense to follow the story with most of the same characters, but also not follow the story at all. So confusing.
The book was amazing -- the movie was, eh.
Still, GREAT quality rip.
