I'm happy that Prop 8 passed here in CA thus banning gay marriage. If it did not pass the words "wife" and "husband" would no longer be P.C. The phrase "my wife" spoken by a man would automatically assume that the man was hetero***ual and therefore it would be a word that implies discrimination between legally "equal" situations (gay spouse vs. straight spouse). It would be politically incorrect to use "wife" or "husband", you would have to use "spouse". If Prop 8 didn't pass, **** would no longer have to use the word "partner", they too could use the word "spouse" and then render "wife" and "husband" as politically incorrect. Prop 8 will keep alive the words that distinguish hetero***ual culture, heritage and values from the gay community. I'm not invading into their culture and values by demanding to play Frankenfurter at the local movie theater even though I'm straight. Don't invade our domain of marriage claiming that homosexuality is just as normal and natural as heterosexuality. It;s just not true. A society based on homosexuality is an evolutionary culdesac. They are not the same nor equal, let's not pretend they are just because we should be nice. I really dont cane what you do. If a person jacks off 125 times a day, what do I care? But don't tell me that it's just as normal as the guy who whacks it 3 times a week. I LOLd when I saw the Gays in SF shouting about wanted to be seen the same way as the straights. They were wearing feathers and leather and face paint and short shorts. It's like "hmmmm ok, I can't imagine why I ever discriminated against and kept my children away from you." Most are just plain nympho pervert buggerer pederasts.
