As siamthai says with the topfield pvr you couldn't ask for a better programme to convert .rec to mpeg and fast too.
Good tip from Bumpcityfunk don't upgrade and it will keep working for you.

Many thanks to the kind person still seeding this. I've been looking & looking for an app to convert my MS Media Center dvr-ms files to drm-less mpeg, and this does it perfectly. Don't need all the bells & whistles of h.264 version.
