It only works for single player. It gives an error saying: "Incorrect CD-ROM" once you try to connect to multiplayer. I suggest using Markxing's iso crack instead.

Thank you pccoonsultant2007 this torrent works great, and is clean, and I am playing it right now.
I'll be seeding it for a while too.
For anyone who doesn't get it:
All you have to do is:
1.Open the Halo torrent
2. Go to Setup .EXE
3. Install the program normally...(click next, etc.)
4. Then it will ask you for the crack, go to "serial key for halo", and you should see this code: WYYTU UZWWR SUVS7 HVDJS LJUMJ
Then use it, and let the game finish installing... then you are done!

I need help.
I downloaded 5 different Halo 1 torrents and everytime i try to start, it comes up a little window that says "Gathering exception data" and after that another windows says that Halo has encountered a problem and needs to close.
What should i do to fix it? Plz tell me fast

This works great! but one thing though. when I try to play online and when i update it. it updates and it says restarting but then it dosent restart it says. "invaild key code. we reccomend you deleteing and reinstalling it." did that tryed to play online did the same thing. any help?

well I guess if you just want to play online, this is great, it works fine so far.. but thats the only thing, you cant play online..
but you can have the actual game and you can also download the custom edition and it will work fine

BORED? Tired of MODS? Want more players and challenges?
To play more multiplayer, you will need to:
1) Uninstall, then install this version of Halo (Combat Evolved). This is to uninstall any updates later than 1.00, so you can connect to more players.
2) Download and install Halo CUSTOM EDITION, the expansion pack of Combat Evolved. They are two separate games.
3) Download "Halo version changer" from Ganadur, and copy and paste the files into your Halo directories. Those files will prevent your game from checking for updates. The updates will connect you to less players. If you accidentally installed the updates, then uninstall your updated Halo client, and install it again.
4) Download Xfire, a third party game client, to play on Xfire Custom Edition and/or Xfire Combat Evolved servers.
By doing all of the steps above, you will get a total of FOUR different multiplayer servers to play with!
