Yo, people... I'm sure this d/l is fine, but this app is freeware from www.truecrypt.org (as stated in typ's release notes).
Like I say, I'm sure this is on the up n up, but if you're serious enough about security to install and use this, get it from the original source. Can't be too careful.
Oh, and truecrypt 5 brings you full disk encryption, enter a pw on the way up, before the OS loads (is my understanding). Good stuff!

hey sharebird, you're right. If one doesn't trust the internet, one should download from the original source. I published these torrents mainly for the impatient who doesn't want to wait for truecrypt.org to come back up - it was down.

because TrueCrypt removes old source-code and versions from the internets .
Anyone who has TC v3.0,3.0.a,3.1,3.1a sourcecode
with sig-files ?
