Klart man kan släppa filmer från 1957 i HD.
Som sagt så är alla gamla filmer filmade på film, och då finns inget som heter pixlar m.m. Man kan nästan dra upp det i hur bra upplösning som helst.

@daveggg: man brukar väl säga att 35 mm:s biofilm har ungefär fyra gånger så hög upplösning som 1080p (dvs runt 2000), så ja, det kan bli väldigt HD...
