auxilium: Now let's try it with you actually READING the blurb:
WARNING: 5.1 DTS for DTS-Capable systems
Torrent is fine, but NO IT WILL NOT PLAY ON STEREO SYSTEMS. You need 5.1 surround sound. Try VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Thanks! I have VLC & look forward to hearing the remaster of this, the biggest piece of shite The Stones ever released.
"December's Children" & "Goats Head Soup" are still my favourites.

I'll be damned. I've had these files for a number of years and even tho I have 5.1/DTS receiver. All I ever got was hiss. Today I thought maybe if I convert the wave files to flacs they'd play (all my 5.1/DTS flacs do). Well I converted and...no joy :(
Then I saw the one comment about using the VLC player. I thought to myself "How can a stupid player make a difference? After all I have all the codecs for the other players and they should work but, what the hell. I'll go ahead and install VLC.
Damn! It worked. For some reason the wav files now play AND they sound great! Don't ask me why. All I know is that it worked with VLC and my A/V receiver.
