NOTE: I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THIS PATCH!!! I AM MEERLY SEEDING IT FOR OTHERS TO USE! Description of the Patch: - Leagues EPL, Ligue 1, Calcio, LFP, Eredivisie, Bundesliga - Bootpack Nike, Adidas, Umbro, Puma y Lotto asigned - Kits 07/08 of all teams and countries - Balls Nike, Adidas, Umbro - More than 70 Faces adds and Hairs asigns - Leagues, teams, countries and cups in HD - Replay Logos and Champions Ads - Champions League Scoreboard - More than 100 Stadium´s Adboards - Stadiums Previews - World Map - Xbox 360 > Ps3 Controls - Option File of Ingeniero24 with transfers, real names, formations, classic teams, THE SCREENSHOTS OF THE PATCH ARE IN THE 'SCREENSHOTS' FOLDER IN THE RAR INSTRUCTIONS OK FIRST OF ALL YOU MAY WANT TO MAKE A FOLDER ON YOUR DESKOP TO BACK UP THE FILES IN YOUR PES2008 OPTION FILES INCASE YOU BUGGER THIS UP, THE FILES YOU MAY WANT TO BACKUP ARE: CS.IMG, RV_E.IMG, CV_1.IMG AND CV_0.IMG AND MAYBE YOUR SETTINGS.EXE IN THE PES2008 PROGRAM FILES 1- Unzip download files 2- Open Afs Explorer 3.7 (also included in the rar), go to file import AFS file, where it says 'Files of Type' select 'all files', then go to your pes 2008 program files, which is in konami/pro evolution soccer/img and open cv_0.img 3- It will then ask you something, Put no in the first option, and then ok in the second 4- Go to Action/ Import Folder and find the folder cv_0 in the folder you downloaded 5- A window will appear telling that it must regenerate the file, you tell yes and save it in the desktop as "cv_0.img" 6- After that accept the options that appear, and you close Afs Explorer 7- Finally, copy/paste the file 'cv_0.img' in Konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 2008/img, then click yes to overwrite (this is where if you go wrong you copy and paste the originals back into the pes2008 program files folder) 8- After that you do exactly the same steps for the files cv_1.img, rv_e.img and pdata.img, (but obviously where it says cv_0.img in the instructions imagine it is the file you are editing) 9- Copy/Paste the folder 'save', which is located in the 'Of' folder into My Documents/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, but only do this after you have started the game once (otherwise the existing folder wont be there) PLEASE NOTE : WITH THIS PATCH I HAVE EXPIERIENCED 1 PROBLEM, THAT IS THAT SOMETIMES WHEN YOU START PES 2008 IT COMES UP WITH THE 'Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.' HOWEVER, IF YOU KEEP TRYING IT WILL WORK, IT TAKES AROUND 4 GOES, BUT I DID WARN YOU IT IS UP TO YOU, PERSONALLY IT DOESNT BOTHER ME AS THE PATCH MAKES UP FOR THE ERROR.

i got this patch from another website and it is genuine.but its complicated to install it and if you fuck it up,you probably wont be arsed to do it all over again.

it changed all the teams ok.but the strips ,badges,leagues etc didnt work.i couldnt be arsed to go through it all again.

why backup the file cs.img if we don't make any change?

because although you dont edit it, the game itself changes the cs.img when you start it up, to adapt to the patch. So you do need to back it up incase of a fuck up

Ive just downloaded this myself and there is definatley a pdata.img there, im not saying that ur wrong but its definatley in the one i just downloaded. Could anyone else please say if they have problems with this patch.

OK! I have pdata.img on the RAR file. (no torrent file prob here).
I just didn't patch the pdata.img file because he doesn't exist in my Konami/PES2008/IMG directory...
I've patched the other files well so i get the names, Logos and some nice visual changes.
Very nice thx.
The only prob: I always need to go to the EDIT option (Load and Save edit data) when I started a new game to make the real names apears on the game.

i think the problem david.rosa had is the same i have. in the torrent i used to download the actual game itself i have no file of pdata.img
im going to just leave it unpatched for now and let you know how it works in a little bit

The whole pdata.img thing is not that important, its only your player data so if u dont patch it, it doesnt really matter. Oh and about the rv_e.img, if u leave me ur email, il send u mine.

why do the folder get stuck at "initializing directory tree" it loads others fast and then get stuck at that?

Yeh, i do still get it, but if i keep trying it works, i installed the patch on a mates pc and it works fine, its just a problem with my Windows that doesnt like it, it shouldnt really affect anyone else i dont think.

Very strange I've installed the patch and everything and it works fine, but when I want to start a new game in "Master League" it doesn't show the real names... always the same strange club appears!
Any Ideas?
