Video is better than dvd, audio however isn't. That unfortunately is more important here. Then again what hddvd rip hasn't got shit audio compared to the actual discversion. A 1 to 1 copy of the dvd would be better imho.

This is from HDNet, a channel in the US that broadcasts soley in HD.
There are rumors that this will come to Bluray, I hope so. However, this XviD right here is NOT an upscale from DVD, it's a capture from an HD Broadcast which got it's source from the actual 35mm reels. What you see here (other than the audio) is a little less than what you'd get on an actual Bluray.
Bluray would be win though: 1080p of this classic, with DTS 5.1 and LPCM 2.0 would be heaven.
