ATTENTION PIRATES !There is no point of downloading Gmax, at least not this one.
You won't find any working serials, i have been searching and testing for 2 hours now without result.
I suppose you want to model, then search for "3DSmax", it's abit more advanced and has more features. Or, if you want to walk the legal way, i think "Google Sketchup" would do just fine. But i haven't used that but one of my friends do.
Here is an example of what you could do with Sketchup AND V-Ray rendering:

But i think Sketchup is more about building rooms or structures, not characters but i haven't used it so can't say for sure.

Damn you pirates! GMax is still supported by Turbosquid (download and registration). Get your download here from this guy , and go to http://www.turbosquid.com/RegisterGmax/ to register FOR FREE, you will get your own activation key.Further install instruction: make sure you unzip GMAX at the root of your c: drive, like C:gmax so it will properly load the plugins and stuff.
