Drauma: Ofcourse literature is a good source for information. But I have a very important thought I want to share with you, or anyone interested in there kind of topics.. I have experienced real long-lasting and vivid OOBEs for as long as I can remember due to my Sleep Paralysiz which occurs atleast two times a week. First couple of years I was terrified. Now I am 27 and been experimenting and exploring my OOB's and SP's for many years.
The thing is this, everyone in to OOB talks about the "silver cord" attached to your body while "out of body" so you can keep track, and always find back... The thing is: EVERYBODY is talking about/seeing/feeling this silver cord while OOB.
For me, having had hundreds of vivid OOBs and LucidDreams, i never saw any cord, I just knew I was connected, I felt it like gravity, but there was never any cord attached to me. BUT! from the first time i read about the cord, IT WAS RIGHT THERE BETWEEN MY SLEEPING BODY AND MYSELF OOB AND HAS BEEN VISUAL EVER SINCE !!
So the morale of the story; Reading books and literature is the absolutely best source of information, but BEWARE! It is also superbly easy to pollute your subconsious. I would go VEEEERY easy and be VEEEERY humble to devouring information on these kinds of topics. Otherwise, Love to all of you. We are the Universe. I see you guys on the Astral Plane!;)
