Whoever encoded this didn't use very good settings. Subme, trellis and me_range settings are all not as high as they should be. I'd give this encode a 6 out of 10. The subme and me_range settings especially are just mediocre at best.

And btw, this *is* the director's cut, but this is encoded from a Russian source (why hasn't anyone mentioned this?) The primary audio tracks and subtitle tracks are Russian. English IS on there, but it's the 4th audio track down and English is the third subtitle track.
