RipBot264 [x264 encoder]

RipBot264 v.1.11.0 One of the best if not the best program for encoding your discs to x264 (video) and AAC (audio - alternatively you can use Ogg Vorbis or leave it as AC3) and wrapping the encoded files into mp4 or mkv containers. Simple, mostly selfexplanatory application. Stable, and without the hell of dependencies. I've tried many programs like this - MeGUI, Staxrip, etc. and only RipBot264 is worth installation. Works with Windows XP and Vista. It was created by Atak Snajpera and Ajax Undone (installer) from forum.doom9.net. Some my remarks: 1. if you have installed codec packs like K-Lite, CCCP, Vista Codec Packs or similar UNINSTALL THEM IMEDIATELLY! (actually the author said so, and I fully agree!) 2. the program will chain all the files automatically, e.g. it is enough to show the program to index VTS_01_1 from your DVD files. That's all! 3. multichannel audio is possible only if you use Mkv You will easily figure out the rest. It is so simple!
