Well, what step 3 means is that in order for the program to work 100% without any registration issues that will usually happen once it detects that the key is blacklisted, you need to block folderlock from any internet access. If you allow folderlock to use the internet, it will detect that the key included has been blacklisted and will ask you to buy the product. Folderlock will be useless once that happens.
