Against All Odds: Originally titled "How Can You Just Sit There?", the song was initially from the sessions for Collins' debut solo album Face Value (1981). It hit No2 in UK Charts.

RE-MASTERED ....MY ARSE !.... There is no such CD, it does not exist on the retail market. This re-hashed/home compiled CD sounds like some has just Re-EQ'd (change the Bass Mid Treble settings) on the original to 'Brighten' the sound up and possibly Compressed it to hell to get more 'Gain' (Volume/Level) out of the original Analogue Recordings. So would someone please explain to me what the term 'Remastered', in this case actually means. I have been in the Recording and Music industry for 40 years. My definition of 'Remastered' is that you take the original Analogue Master Tapes/Digital info, put it back through the Mixing Desk and either do a new Mix/Balance/Re-Eq/Compress/additional Vox or Instruments or just a general 'clean-up' of the original audio and/or then finally Copy/Master the newly Re-Mixed Analogues in to a Digital Format to produce new Masters for long term storage.... Hence the word Re-Mastered....And from my experience I can not see Studio Engineers/Producers at any level spending many hours producing a 'Re-Mastered' version of a CD/Tracks just to upload it on to Piratebay.. The morale of the story.... when you upload any other older analogue recorded stuff in future, re-copy the old Analogue Mastered CD, stuff a load of Treble and Bass on it, whilst copying, Compress the sound if you can, convert it to the chosen format (MP3/FLAC etc) and you can then call it Re-Mastered.... Like this is. You will find this process has been done on many uploads marked 'Re-Mastered'. Some have been noticeably Re-Eq'd and Compressed to the point of Distortion on the finished sound. This one is a classic example of that. You are not getting a new Studio re-engineered version of the the original recordings. If any doubt, go check one of the retail sites first and try and find the title to see if there is a genuine Re-Mastered version of the CD/Album you are trying to download. If it exists the Artworks will state 'Digitally Re-Mastered' or wording to that effect. So think twice before downloading 'Re-Mastered' versions to replace your older/original tracks, in some cases you are only gaining a different sound that you can get yourself by cranking up the Bass, Mid & Treble controls on your sound equipment when playing it back. A massive misleading and misuse of the word.... AGREE ? Someone tell me I'm wrong.... I dare you.
