How right you are about TAABII. After the blazing success of "Aqualung", what happened? The group's popularity ma have gone from strength to strength, but it's my position that, even as brilliant as "A Passion Play" is, it's not Tull.
The second side of TAAB is the beginning of Anderson's decline as a song writer. He can't be blamed, of course. But by "War Child" he was writing cookie cutter songs.
