okay there was a box that said it will make sure your current game is up to date and then it will reset your game meaning it will be like when you first got the game so all the houses you built and sims created will not be there because it was reset and I'm pretty sure you can't get it all back once you install this new stuff pack

thx for this, it works perfect, notice to the others that don't find the serial and the key, you have to unpack the image file and you should get lots of folders, just look for an map named crack.

If it says no disc inserted that means you did not copy the crack over the original EXE after installing the game. Copy the crack file that can be found in the Crack folder on the mounted image and replace the Sims2SP9.exe in the TSBin folder of the Sims install directory with the crack file by the same name. After doing this it will no longer check for the CD when trying to run the game.

okay so i seen you guys freaking out, but i don't know how to help you but for the people that are going to install this go in to your documents and cut and paste your EA Games folder on your desktop, then install the game copy the crack into the program TSBin folder and cut and paste your EA Games folder back into your documents, if you have custom items make sure they are enabled if you want to use them. there you go. gosh noobs these days. lol

The .nfo file contains the serial number. You have to right click it and open it with notepad. If you try to double-click it, your computer will try to open it as a system information file. The people who create these files need to understand this and start naming them *.txt or something. *.nfo is a specific file type and can't be opened by double-clicking. For the crack, just copy the Sims2EP9.exe file from the crack folder to your C:\EAGames\The Sims 2\Mansion & Garden Stuff pack/TSBin folder.

Okay, so I no what I'm doing. I have downloaded all of the other expansions from pirate bay and have downloaded them successfully. But for this one I'm having a problem getting the crack to work, I use Magic ISO to open the File but it wont save the crack when I drag it over the the TSBin, does anyone have any other suggestions? I got the same problem like many of you guys: It popped up a box where it said "Please insert the CD" blabla. But I found the solution!
Copy Sims2EP9 in the crack folder and paste it into C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff\TSBin
At least that worked for me!

Mansions and Gardens is mini expansion/stuff pack, it is not a normal stuff pack. If you check the modding sites out, you'll see there's numerous discussions about the fact it's a mini expansion. This is why it requires a crack while the other stuff packs do not. It also includes a few new interactions, such as sliding down the staircases.
I still need to check it out myself, heard it has a lot of fun stuff.

This is a perfect torrent file. Works like a dream. I used magic iso/disk to mount, install with the keygen. then copied the original iso and extracted that to a folder. then copied the application.exe into the tsbin folder, replacing the original.

The problem is that windows 7 keep trying to make the crack a short cut instead of replacing it with the old .exe file. How would I fix this? To find the crack folder you have to go to go to "computer." There you'll see the mansion and garden stuff icon. Click on it (you must click on it from the sidebar, under the computer menu, it's just to the left) and wala, you should see a bunch of folders, on of them reading crack, then just copy the file sims2ep9, and then go to program files (x86)>ea games> ts2 mansion and garden stuff>tsbin and paste it, the click on the first thing, overwrite DO NOT MAKE TWO COPIES, and you're done :)

I have the original Mansion & Garden stuff but the cd got all scratched up and it wouldn't run anymore so I downloaded this. I didn't play for a few months and now when I do go to play I get an error message with NO ERROR in it. It's just completely blank with an 'ok' button. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it many times and it will work perfectly fine after a fresh install, but after I exit out of it and try to play it the next day... it gives me the same empty error message. Does this happen to anyone else? Does anyone know how I can fix this? Any help would be much appreciated! :)
